Kozan's first day

A fox-like girl is sloppily sleeping in her apartment. Her room is a bit of a mess, full of many art supplies and drawings.

Kozan Narration: Hi, my name is Kozan. As you can see, I am a bit of an art nerd. I love drawing, it keeps my mind off of...-

An alarm rings in her room.

Kozan: Mmmmm Ugh...

She reaches for her phone alarm and turns it off as she gets up. She silently walks into her bathroom.

Kozan Narration: I'm really not a morning person. I spent all of last night coming up with new character poses.

She's now shown putting on her clothes: a t-shirt with a fire symbol on it, , a skirt that reaches to her knees, and white shoes with knee high socks. She packs her fire retardant gloves that reach to her elbows in a bag. Once she fixes her hair into a ponytail, she opens her window and jumps out.

Kozan: Heh.

Her palms glow a bright orange before fire comes out of the palms of her hands, letting her fly in the air. As she flies through the city others look up to see her, some others also using elements for fun or practical reasons.

Kozan: Oh Yeah!

Kozan Narration: You see, I'm an elemental. A human who can use elements. There are 3 types of humans out there. Normal, Elemental, and Cursed.

Kozan looks around and sees a building with many elemental symbols on it. She flies to the ground of the building.

Kozan Narration: Enough about that though. Today is my first day at my new job-

She looks up at the building with a big smile, as she takes her gloves out of her bag and slides them on

Kozan: The Elemental Cafe.

She opens the door to see people in line ordering, people sitting and waiting, and the workers giving out the orders. A very irritated bartender wiping down the bar tables searing like a sailer under her breath and hitting herself when she drops the cloth. Out of the corner of her eye, Kozan notices a wolf-like girl in a red jacket, a light blue shirt, heels with white socks that reach her knees, and a pair of green gloves. Kozan smiles brightly.

???: Here's your order, have a nice day!

Kozan: Luna!

The girl, who we now know is namedd Luna, ears perk up and turn her head to Kozan waving at her, she smiles and starts quickly walking to her.

Luna: Kozan!

Kozan Narration: That's my best friend since childhood, Luna. She's the one who helped me get this job.

They give each other a quick hug.

Luna: You made it just in time. My boss just came back with the new shipment of ingredients we needed.

Kozan: Great!

Luna: You sure you're ready? My boss is pretty flexible on these interviews.

Kozan shakes her head no.

Kozan: I don't wanna become reliant on commissions. I need a stable source of income in case I have a dry spell in commissions.

Luna: Ah, he's in his office right now, you did send your resume right?

Kozan: Emailed it yesterday!

Luna: Well, go! You don't want to be late do you?

Kozan looked at her watch, then her eyes widened.

Kozan: Oh shit! You're right! See ya Luna!

She starts speed walking to the office door as Luna waves.
