8 - How Could You..

After they were done practicing, Jungwon and Jay went to the bathroom since they were complaining that they needed to go.

Jake rested his head on Sunghoon's shoulder. "Ah. I'm tired. That was a lot of hard work." Jake looked at Ni-ki. "Hey, Ni-ki..you okay?" Ni-ki turned to him and smiled. "Yeah. It's just that..Jay has been acting weird lately. He's slowly distancing himself away from me. But I promise, I'm fine."

Jake smiled at him back, he frowned when Ni-ki looked away. He looked up at Sunghoon. "I don't think Ni-ki is okay.." He said. Sunghoon nodded in agreement.

Sunwoo crawled his way to Ni-ki. "Ni-ki. I'm sure he still likes you. I think he was just going through something." He patted Ni-ki's back.

Rosé rushed into the room. She looked annoyed. "I think you guys might wanna see this." She said with an angry tone. They all got up and followed her.

They made it to a bathroom. She put her hand up making them stop. She then let them go in by themselves since she can't go in there.

They sneaked in there and heard familiar voices. Ni-ki decided to go ahead on his own. He peaked around the corner. He covered his mouth and let tears fall. He walked out of the bathroom in anger. Rosé saw him leave and sighed.

The others looked around the corner and gasped. Sunwoo was speechless. "This actually can't be happening.." Heeseung knocked on the wall. Jay and Jungwon quickly turned towards where they heard the noise.

"I don't wanna hear your bullshit. What the hell is this? Tell the truth. You both hurt two people." Heeseung said walking up to them. "Heeseung..It's not what it-" Jay was cut off when Heeseung slapped him. "I said, I don't want to hear your bullshit!" Heeseung sighed. "Jay apologize to Ni-ki, and Jungwon you apologize to Sunwoo." He said. Jay went to go look for Ni-ki and Jungwon walked to Sunwoo.

Ni-ki sat in the dance room talking to his sister.

"Shh. Riki. It's okay. He's a jerk. Your a really good person. You deserve someone!"

Ni-ki wiped his tears. "Thank you, Konon." He then heard the door open. "I have to go. Bye." He put his phone away and turned around. He got up to leave, but Jay grabbed him. "Riki.." He said softly. Ni-ki pushed Jay.

"No! You and Jungwon were making out! That's why you've been distancing yourself away from me? To be with Jungwon? This isn't you Jay! What happened?!" Ni-ki yelled. Jay sighed. "I just don't have feelings for you anymore.." He said looking down.

Ni-ki rolled up his sleeve up, took the bracelet off, and shoved it to Jay. "Take your damn bracelet. You just broke your own promise." Ni-ki said. He then left the room, leaving Jay behind.

Jake sat down on a bench next to Sunghoon. "Our friend group is falling apart.." Sunghoon said. Jake looked at him and leaned on him. "Yeah..I hope Ni-ki and Sunwoo are doing okay." He said wiping his tears away.

(They are at Rosé's music studio)

Sunwoo walked to the music room and opened it. He saw Ni-ki sitting on a chair. Sunwoo smiled a little. "I guess we have the same comfort place." He said with a little chuckle.

Ni-ki looked up. He wiped his tears and smiled. Sunwoo sat next to Ni-ki and patted his back. "Ni-ki, it's okay. I feel the same way. Jungwon distanced himself from me, too." He said frowning, letting tears fall down.

Ni-ki turned to Sunwoo and lifted his head up. He then wiped his tears off. He then hugged him. "Don't cry. I don't like it when you cry." He said rubbing circles on his back. Sunwoo started crying again. "When you cry, I cry Ni-ki.." Sunwoo said holding Ni-ki tightly.

Ni-ki walked out of Rosé's dance studio and walked home. He felt like someone was watching him, so he picked up the pace. He then heard footsteps behind him. He started running, and the person behind him started running too. He was about to turn the corner when the person grabbed him and drugged him.

Jake looked at his phone. Ni-ki never answered his texts. "It's been two days since Ni-ki cane to school.." He said turning his phone off. He groaned and pulled his hair. Heeseung smaked his hand. "I'm sure Ni-ki is just taking a time off of school since the whole thing that happened." Heeseung said smiling.

Sunwoo shook his head. "No. He was completely fine after we both spent some time together. He told me more about himself. He was happy.." He explained which made the others more confused.

"Then..where could he be?" Jay said with a concerned look.
