Athanasia's Pov

  In one split of a second ones life can be change either for the better or for the worst.  Mines was no exemption to this. A promise is all it took for my life to change in the split of a second.

Like an hourglass clock that turns when the time is up. My life was just like it, turning upside down whenever time stopped when the sand filled the bottom of the glass. Except my hourglass was empty.

The imaginary sand falls to the bottom of the clock, just like that once the bottom is filled up with sand the clock turns upside down so does my life.

"Who would like to go first?" a piercing gaze was shot at me by the owner of the store.  A disturbing sound of what it seems to be a monitor invades my head, getting louder and louder making my head throb in pain.

' I better go and get some air before Arius notices but why is this sound so familiar?'

Getting up from my seat barely managing to speak I say "you can go first Arius I'll go get some fresh air" 

It's getting louder

"Oh okay, but are you okay?"  concern envelopes in my brothers voice, his eyebrows are furrowed with his fist clenched he almost looks like he's ready to leave and take me to the hospital.

'Hehe this corn head'

"I'm fine is just I think you should've your fortune told in privacy" making up an excuse on the spot, smiling gently at him so he can suck it up and believe it.

'Come on corn head stopped worrying and get your fortune already at this rate I'm worried about you ending up alone with 7 cats'

"okay if you say so but be careful it just started raining " pointing out the glass window, through it I could see the rain falling down gently.

He believed it....someone get me my Oscar ready. Almost forgetting about my throbbing headache I stride to the door.

"There is an umbrella by the door you can use it"  making me stop on my tracks, the owner who has been drilling holes at my head offered me a umbrella. Muttering a 'thank you' not wanting to meet his gaze. I grab the crimson red umbrella,  reaching for the door handle the beep became a long one as if the person who was connected to the monitor has

Died.

My is eyes suddenly widen, my limbs become shaky and my heart starts throbbing more than my head. 'What is this feeling?'  With my shaky hand I clench on the handle pulling the door to open causing the bell to ring and letting the sound of rain in.

Still feeling the piercing gaze of the owner I turn my head. Finally meeting his eyes, he mumbled something to me from all the way to where I am standing.

I felt my body becoming cold, my hand shakily clenching harder on the door handle. I walk out of the fortune store with the crimson red umbrella open feeling terrified.

The sound of the bell and the monitor became harmonize.
