It was a rainy night at Ojiwa Village. The tower bell had already rung to signal all the people that no one could leave the village except for the sick people. People could not leave because there was a huge forest on the other side and predators like tigers and leopards mostly hunted at night. Kaseki and his friends had decided to run out from their home in order to get trained in Martial Arts. They didn't exactly know how or when, but they were determined to fulfil their dreams. They all were poor families from the village and they weren't satisfied that there was not even one Martial Arts trainer from their entire village. They had a plan. They thought the plan was wonderful and they would succeed in their plan. Kaseki was disguised as an old sick man in a wheelchair pushed by his two friends Fekko and Ranster disguised as his children. But luck was not in their favour that day. They had decided to run when the guards were shifting duties which were at 10:00 PM but when they reached there the night shift guards were already in place and as if that was not enough, Kaseki fell down from the wheelchair at a bump in the pathway and dropped his fake hair and beard. Kaseki forgot he was acting like an old man and unknowingly he got up to his feet again right in front of the guard who was watching over the people who crossed the gate. During this brief moment of confusion, Ranster and Fekko had safely crossed the gate without the guard knowing. Kaseki however was sure that the guard would not let him cross the gate. He racked his brain for some last minute plan to distract the guard. He was a general prankster, so he played to his strengths. He then tried to fool the guard and said "Good evening General sir!" The guard was shocked and straightened his shirt and looked back for the general and said "Good Evening Sir!" but to his astonishment no one was there and when he looked back again, Kaseki was not there. He had crossed the gate separating the village and the jungle and the guard was not allowed to cross the gate himself to catch him. Kaseki reached his friends safely. Ranster and Fekko asked him how he had managed to get past the guards all by himself. Kaseki told them the story in a hilarious manner and all three of them were laughing happily after their success at crossing the gate of their village without getting caught. But they knew they still had a long way to go until they finally fulfil their dreams and they weren't losing hope.
They were between the village and a harsh jungle with wild animals who were hungry to eat. The three friends had not learned Martial Arts or any other type of fighting till now and had no idea how they could cross the jungle without having to fight at least one predator one the way to Kakinashi village. They had not brought many items from their homes, just some water, fruits, chocolates and that was all. They now did not have a plan about how they would even reach Kakinashi village! Their epic journey was just about to begin. They started to walk along the jungle which was frightening and admirable at the same time. They were kind of exhausted so they rested beside a Banyan tree, and Kaseki called them and they saw the most beautiful view of the entire jungle. They admirably looked at the scene. It was a gigantic waterfall and could see the view best from the moonlight. Kaseki saw a little hut beside the waterfall but before he could look at it more closely, a scratching noise behind a bush. They all picked up sticks or stones which they thought would defend them from the thing behind the bush. Something suddenly jumped out of the bush. The three of them were terrified, but it was only a little rabbit. They didn't know why but the rabbit was looking scared and running away from the bush. A growl came from behind of them and they looked back and saw a giant black bear looking straight at them. Kaseki, Ranster and Fekko were petrified. Kaseki took a stone and threw it straight at the bear's wet nose. Kaseki regretted doing that because it had only irritated the bear and had done no harm. The bear wasn't going away and had left no space for the three of them to escape as well. Now, they had to fight and they didn't even know how to. Kaseki, Ranster and Fekko had a special friendship. One could even sacrifice anything for the other. So they made a plan, Kaseki would distract the bear which would create an opening for Ranster and Fekko to run away and get help from the small hut Kaseki had seen. Ranster objected doing this but Fekko knew that it was their only chance if they wanted even one person to survive. Fekko pulled Ranster hard but he wouldn't budge. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? GO!" Kaseki got a stick and slashed it at the bear and ran the other side, the bear followed him. Ranster finally gave in. "You better not die," he called out to Kaseki and saw him grinning at him. He barely saw his two friends running away. He again looked down the waterfall searching for his two friends but he got slashed by the bear right into his face and everything around him was slowly fading.
