Take me to VESPA! (Alberto x Luca)

1. What's above there?

The sunset slowly fading, the boy's eyes are teary, holding the compass his father gave him. His father was going to go sailing, but he said he would take a long time to get home.

"Kid, you are old enough to take care of yourself, you can ask the villagers for help if you need it, be strong. Don't go near the sea."
He patted both the boy's shoulders.

"When will you be back?"

He replied with a smile then off he went. That day was the last day he saw his father.

10 years later

A colorful city, yet small resident with energetic cheerful people, children playing, adults telling stories to one another, and the creatures hid under the sea of Portorosso. For millions of decades, Humans and sea monsters are sworn enemies, Humans are very afraid of sea monsters and made gruesome rumors about them eating humans. Until now, all the villagers are still praying that they won't see any sea monsters ever again. The fishermen also prepared several tools to fight and protect themselves if something bad happened, Some may not believe it anymore because the story has become a myth however sea monsters are real, and they live normally like humans except, they swim.

"Oh no! Where have they run off to?! Mother is going to kill me!" The dark green-blue sea monster was careless to let go of its guard. He was supposed to take care of the fish but he was always distracted and daydreaming beyond the surface.

The careless creature is searching the fish and eventually found them One by one.

He returned to the farm and go back to his work, watching the fish. He finally got bored. He saw something glittering under the seaweed. He approached slowly at first, but he was afraid to touch anything unfamiliar. But he came back again and took the clock, what a naughty boy is he, the clock rang startled him by the sound. Seeing something like that made him wonder.

"Is this human's belonging?"

Inside the narrow cave, he saw some more glittering objects. Without hesitation, he checked it. Before he passed the light from the surface. He saw a teenage boy swimming, digging in the sand, and collecting some shells. The sea monster hid in the shadows and was afraid to approach him. The boy swam to the surface to get some air. The sea monsters watch him swim, and it makes him happy, he had never seen a human before. He goes to sneak up from him. After gathering many shells, the teenage boy came out of the water. The sea monster boy followed him and tried to peek a little.

"Let's see..." He dropped the shells and started examining them one by one.

The sea monster trying to approach him, but the boy caught a glimpse. Fortunately, the sea monster hid quickly.

"Hmm, Nah..." He ignored.

"My heart, my heart is beating fast" he clenched his chest. He tried to peek a second time. But the boy is no longer there. He felt disappointed and wanted to see him again.

"Luca!"

The mother called below him, she sounds very worried. And his mother rushes to the surface to drag Luca away from it. "How many times do I have to say that you cannot go any near-surface?"

"Mom..." Luca furrowed in upset.

"Hey, look at me in the eyes" Luca look at her eyes with anger expression.

"You know I love you, right?" And then she embraces Luca, he replied with an 'I love you too'

"Mother called your uncle actually, I have thought you will be safer in uncle's place" Luca widen his reddish eyes. "Deep into the ocean?!" He shouts in terror. "Mom, you know how much I hate dark..." His mother sighed and hugged him, she knows this decision is unnecessary but counting how much she worried about his son just scares her. "Tomorrow, you will be living with your uncle, so get some sleep" she kisses him on the cheek and left his son being hopeless.

The night is already set however the fish boy can't get to close his eyes thinking about the nightmare that will come tomorrow. "I don't want to go there" he murmured. He tries again to sleep but he won't stop thinking of that human boy. "I wanted to meet him," as his tears falling from his eye.

The weather seems bad, his uncle is waiting for the boy who looks helpless to go. "Are you excited?" He sarcastically asked as the boy just rolled his eyes. The parents are a bit sad that their son is going to leave but they are also felt relieved that their boy is going to be safe.

After a short goodbye, the two of them go to the deep, dark, cold place where his uncle lives.

Before they get to their final destination, the boy changes his mind and decided to go back, he swims up to the surface, living his uncle dumbfounded.

"LUCAAAA!!!!!!!"

The sea monster boy named Luca jumps to the surface, but unfortunately for the weather, the clouds are dark, a storm strikes here and there, it's heavily raining.
Luca is shockingly disappointed but between living in the dark? He rather risks such a life dangerous situation.

"Please, I wanted to see him." he thought.

Because of his small body, he was quickly washed away by the big waves.

What's above there? Is it worth it?

Is he going to meet the human boy?

The only he can do is hope.
