Erik's pov:
It's been a week since me and Y/n first properly hanged out. We've been texting lots and she's been coming over mostly to hang out with Lyle but sometimes with me as well. I think Lyle is a bit annoyed because he's used to it being just them two. It's the morning on the first day back at school,
E: morning Lyle.
He grunted back
L:morning.
As I went into the living room I saw Jamie
J:oh hi Erik.
I smiled at her
I sat down and made sure everything was in my bag.
Lyle came through and Jamie kissed
E: yeha I'm gonna go pick Y/n up now
Lyle turned his head around.
L: that's my job
E: well looks like I stole ur job sorry bro
He rolled his eyes. I got into my car and made my way to Y/n's house. I honked my horn and she made her way to my car
U: morning Erik
E: morning how's things?
U: things are good, how bout u and Lyle?
E: I'm good lyle's a bit pissed because I'm picking u up.
She leaned back
U: do u think me and Lyle are drifting apart?
E: why do u say that?
U: cuz ever since me and u started hanging out he's just been a bit weird with me.
E: listen u and my brother not being best friends is like me going to space which is never. So don't worry
She nodded. I got hold of her hand and intertwined our fingers. We finally arrived at school. I saw Lyle and Jamie already there. Me and Y/n got out the car
U: see u later Erik
E: bye Y/n
Y/n's Pov:
I made my way over to Lyle
U: hey Lyle
L: hi
He turned back around to Jamie and his friend Donovan.
U: do wanna walk to class together?
D: why would he walk with u?
U: cuz we're best friends.
Lyle turned to me
L: just go I will see u at break
I huffed and walked off, I knew Lyle was still watching. I made my way to my other best friends, Andy was the first one to notice me
Andy: why aren't u walking with my cousin?
U: he told me to go
Andy: that's not like him anyway shall me and u walk?
I said hi to the rest of the group and then me and Andy walked off.
Andy: how's life been?
U: weird because me and Lyle are kind of drifting apart, then me and Erik are growing closer.
Andy: damn u switching boys
U: I just want me and Lyle to go back to how things were before.
Andy: if anything happens just know I have ur back and I will be here for u
He stopped and then hugged me, I think he saw that Lyle was coming with his group of friend and Erik was also in the corridor.
Andy: EVERYONE Y/N IS GOING TO GIVE ME A PIGGY BACK NOW
Everyone just looked at us and he jumped on my back.
U: Andy
I said laughing. I got halfway but then I gave up and he fell of my back
Andy: ow
We both laughed then I saw Lyle with his two best friends Donovan and Glenn.
Glenn: come on Andy what u doing with this pig?
Andy looked at him
Andy: what did u just call her?
Glenn and Donovan laughed.
Donovan: he called her a pig get ur hearing checked.
Andy went up to them
Andy: stop thinking u own the world and putting people below u. Ur not even meant to be her ur just here for extra brownie points or whatever it's for.
Glenn punched Andy
U: LYLE ARE U NOT GONNA DO ANYTHING!
Lyle shrugged. I got Andy and walked off with him. I took him to first aid.
Andy: honestly I'm fine don't worry.
U: we need to clean ur nose.
We both went inside
Nurse: Y/n go to class Andy is in safe hands.
I walked out and headed to class, I saw that Lyle was outside the class.
U: excuse me
Glenn came up behind me and poured a cup of ice cold water on me
U: oh thanks I was thirsty.
Everyone crowded around us. Donovan got a cup of hot coffee. He went to throw it and instead of it hitting me it hit Lyle.
L: don't ever think about throwing hot coffee on anyone especially if that person is my best friend.
He looked down and smiled at me. I smiled back.
I got up and looked around I saw Andy.
*time skip*
It's now the end of the day, me and Hermione walked out of class to be met by Andy.
Andy: how are my two best friends?
Hermione: I'm good now schools over.
U: sameee it's been dragging
Hermione: Ikr how's ur nose Andy?
Andy: meh it's fine. So shall we go on an adventure?
Hermione: I can't sorry but tomorrow we can. Y/n I will phone u later.
U: ok
Andy looked at me
U:what?
Andy: wanna go to the brothers house?
U: sure
