"I'm sorry Miss, but you need to be here at least 5 days a week. Security will escort you now."

Another big fail. After 7 interviews, nobody accepted me. I have one more interview in 30 minutes across town. This one is for a clothing store. Hopefully, I get to be a saleswoman instead of manning the register.

I get my keys out of my purse. As I unlock the door, I think about the test I'm supposed to be studying for. Science. My very worst subject.

I close the car door and enter the key in the ignition and pull out of the parking lot. As I'm driving, I see an ice cream place.

Well, I do deserve it. Ill drown myself ice cream. Or I could go to a clothing store and buy myself a new tank top. But frankly, I don't have enough money for both options.

I finally arrive at the store. It's called Vitalis.....WAIT?! Vitalis? This is the designer store. The one where all the famous brand clothing is sold. The expensive clothing. I could get paid a fortune at this place.

This is it, Elizabeth. Get your act together and blow the boss away!

I walk to the back of Vitalis and told an employee that I have an interview.

"Okay. Let me go inform her."

As I waited, I looked around at all the beautiful clothes. One skirt cost $150 dollars! This is one expensive place, I thought to myself.

"Miss.Wells, it's a pleasure to meet you." A tall, beautiful woman said to me, extending her hand for me to shake.

I shook it.

"Lets go to the back room for the interview. It's privacy is plentiful in there."

As we walked to the back room, I couldn't help notice that this lady was naturally beautiful. She wasn't wearing any makeup, yet her face was still bright and refreshed. Her hair was straight and a dark brown, and her skin had an olive tone to it.

Once we reached the back room, she asked me to sit down.

"How old are you Ms.Wells?"

" I am seventeen years old."

She wrote that down in her notebook.

"Are you most comfortable with manning the register or being a saleswoman?"

"Saleswoman."

She once again wrote that down in the notebook of secrets.

"Last question. What days are most convenient for you?"

"Umm, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays."

"Well Ms.Wells, you got the job."

I looked at her in shock. That was easy. Too easy...

"R-R-Really?" I said stuttering.

"Yes ma'am. I like your character and enthusiasm. I also see you have very nice fashion sense."

"Thank you. For everything." I got up and shook her hand.

"You are most certainly welcome."

I exited the tiny room and exited the store. Once I got into the van, I started jumping up and down.

"Uh huh. Oh yeah. I got the job! Uh huh. Oh yeah."

Once I got a little calmed down, I drove home, ready to excite my siblings with the wonderful news.

As I opened the door, I walked in and saw everybody crying.

"Uh guys. What's wrong?" I asked.

Diane explained to me what happened and as she told me, I couldn't take it anymore. Black circles were circling my vision. I couldn't see. I couldn't hear. I couldn't breathe. All I could feel were the tears silently streaming down my face.

Here's another chapter, ending in a cliff hanger! This is the last chapter I will be writing. If you are confused about why, read the note on my profile page I wrote to all my lovely readers. Thank you for the people who read this book. I will always remember how happy I was to see a read.
