''Nirali, this is for you.'' Riya handed Nirali a small paper bag. ''What's this?''

''Check!'' Riya gave her a small smile. Nirali pulled a strip of tablets. ''Where did you get these?''

''I didn't, your Lakshay did. He came to our class looking for you and since you didn't answer his call. He cornered me and asked about you. I told him you had bad stomach cramps.''

Nirali processed the information. ''These were not there in the infirmary.'' Riya nodded. ''He went to the city to get me these.''

''yes, and he missed his four classes.''

Nirali hugged the tablets to her chest throwing her body in the bed. And then stood up. ''You told him the reason of my cramps''

''He would have guessed it. Be real. '' Riya added

''OMG! This is embarrassing. How will I face him.''

''You are worried about the reason and ignoring the fact that he was so damn worried about you.'' Riya chided. Nirali smiled, the thought of being important was like being on the moon. ''Nirali, he loves you. Don't let him go.''

''I won't''

Nirali woke up startled at the sound of alarm. The dreams of her memories taking a back seat. It was time to get ready for work, but she didn't feel like stepping out. It was those days of the months when she hated the world around her and just wanted to stick to bed. She held her stomach with her palms, her mind again going back to Lakshay. A drop made her way to her pillow drowning again in the sweet memories.

She pushed herself out of bed when she heard Amisha calling her for coffee. With great amount of strength she pushed herself to freshen up. She wish she could go back to the time she asked him to step away. Nirali broke down for the first time in years, feeling very lonely and lost without Lakshay.

''I have arranged the apartments for you guys.'' Lakshay's manager Nita declared

 ''Why apartments? We could have rented a room in a hotel.'' Lakshay asked.  Nita huffed. ''Your stay here is for close to two months and may get extended. Hotels will be expensive. Got my point.''

The four nodded. She was of their mother's age and none wanted to argue. It was Nita's vision that bought them this far. ''I have planned of two apartments. Choose your roomies, and your daily chores and requirement will be taken care off. Just don't scare the neighbors.'' With That Nita handed them keys and address. Varun smiled, he had to bug Nita to be a part of his plan. She had refused bluntly as she never believed in relationships for any kind. She had been betrayed so many times that she preferred staying alone. She displayed her stony side, but she cared for these 4 boys a lot, and the boys loved her back.

Varun got down of the vehicle staring at the apartment complex. ''Man, she must be earning good.'' Naman exclaimed.

''Who?'' Lakshay asked. Varun shook his head. ''No one, he read about a supermodel and has been thinking about changing his career.'' Naman realized his mistake bobbling his head up and down.

Varun whispered to Naman. ''Yes, she earns good, but this apartment belongs to her father. She is here with a friend. Don't try your charm here.'' Naman lifted his hands in surrender. This wasn't about them; it was about their beloved friend. The nicest of all 4.

Nirali stared at her wardrobe. ''I have nothing to wear.'' She groaned irritated. She wished she could tell Amisha what was going in her mind and heart. Amisha stared at her friend. ''As far as I remember, you never bothered about looking too flashy and refused to shop last month. What changed in a day?''
