"Our greatest joy and our greatest pain come in our relationships with others." – Stephen R. Covey

It was a normal, averagely boring Wednesday evening, I'd been up since the crack of dawn to get the train. I was groggy for most of the day, bored of people running around me, things happening at all times. The bright studio lights didn't help, practically blinding me, and I swear I had to yell "LINE" at least ten times. We got longer breaks today, usually I'd be thankful, and I don't want to seem like I'm not, but it seemed to just drag on. Unpopular opinion but Wednesday is the worst day, It's right between Monday and Friday, and your just sat there waiting for the weekend. I know what I just said, but I was that worn out from going to place to place on the set, I was thankful to at least sit down. Even if it was to drift of into my own world. Walking out of the studio, the winters cold air hitting my face, making my nose and cheeks a subtle pink colour. Being careful not to slip on the ice that was forming on the pavement I walked over to the studios cafe they had built before filming. Not going to get into the burning details of my lunch unless you really want to hear about my cheese sandwich and a bottle of still water.
I let my feet drag me back to filming after that, and I was quickly met with the director asking where I'd been, he didn't give me time to answer of course and stopped me before I could even open my mouth to protest. I was basically thrown into hair and makeup. The crew, frantically trying to style my hair as it had been flattened by the rain that was beginning to come down.
The sky twisted into a grey colour, almost matching my mood. Hour after hour they filmed and redid scenes that were probably perfectly fine already, and yet I was meant to stay on set for another hour but here was a problem with the camera so we were told to just go home.
Unfortunately, my dad couldn't pick me up for at least a couple hours so I decided to head into town, otherwise I'd be stuck doing nothing. It wasn't a great day to be outside, so I had no choice but to find some sort of shelter in the nearby shops. Picking up things, not buying them, just looking around, bored out of my mind. I just hung around really, waiting for the text from my dad saying he was outside. I been in the same shop for over an hour so I decided to move, may as well get a coffee, anything that can keep me awake. I let my feet lead me down the street, my neatly, redone hair was now back into the mess it was before. I let out a sigh and continued walking, that was until I heard a group of what sounded like girls running out of the rain.

I turned my head to the side to hear them complaining to one another about how they are completely soaked, a girl whose hair fell over the most part of her face catching my eye, looking distant and not relating to the topic the other girls were talking about, she looks up instantly locking our eyes but looking away almost right away. Not interested anymore, I continued walking and looking away and down at my drenched clothes, and remembering my plans to go and get coffee. That was until I was met with a blow to my chest, winding me, and the person I had just collided with. I open my squinted eyes, my brain processing what had happened and looking down at the same black haired girl I made eye contact with less than 5 minutes ago picking up her new shopping up of the ground. I bend down quickly, trying to salvage the remaining items off the floor, only for them to appear completely soaked. I grabbed her hand to help her up and wiping my eyes, clogged up with rainwater so I could see her face.

"Sorry" I stated, "They look pretty damaged" I say pointing to the crumped, soggy pile of clothes in her bag.

She looked down and gave out a small laugh, "It's fine, they're only clothes and I crashed into you."

"Yeah" I laughed awkwardly, putting my arm behind my head, rubbing the back of my neck trying to figure out what to say next.

"I have to practically sprint to get to my friends to catch up with them before they leave without me, It's like running a marathon" She said laughing, however I didn't really believe she was joking.
