Chapter 10: Half truths

After Zero had checked Serena to make sure she was fine he looked to the scouts as they still where transformed and moments later they deactivated them when the others came to them. Once settled Zero began to question them about what was going on and why were the vampires after Serena.

Zero: "So, who want's to tell me what the F*** is going on?! and why are they after Her?!"

Setsuna looked around and sighed when no one made any movement, only avoiding both her gaze and his, so she decided she was to tell him the truth. 

Setsuna: "Well, as you have probably already found out Serena is the reincarnation of the Moon princess, Serenity, she is the only heir to the moon kingdom, the Silver Millenium, we are part of 8 sailor scouts that protect both the royal family and the solar system, the 4 of us are known as the Outer rim sailor scouts or simply the outer scouts, we are the strongest amongst our companions, the inner scouts, we take the name of our planets of origin and we too are princesses of our own planets, but we pleadged our allience to the moon, I'm known as Sailor Plut, Haruka as Sailor Uranus, Michiru as Sailor Neptune and Hotaru here, is Sailor Saturn, the rest are Sailor Venus, that was the captain of the scouts, Sailor Mars, Sailor Mercury and Sailor Jupiter, those four remained at the moon to directly protect both the queen and princess, while we protected the kingdom from outside threats" She waited a moment to allow him to digest the information she had given him, and when he looked at her to continue she did "Centuries ago, the princess fell in love with a mortal prince, such union was forbidden but they really loved each other, during one of the princess visits to the earth to meet the prince a rebellion rose and the prince lost his life protecting the princess, grief stroken she took her own life, the moon queen, Selene, lost her will to live and used the moon crystal to give all the people that had died a second chance at life, this included both the princess and prince as well as the scouts that had lost their lives during the invasion to the moon kingdom by the dark forces, later on when we lost contact with the kingdom we abandoned our posts to see what was going on, when we arrived, the palace had become ruins and everything was filled with poison, during our moment of weakness we somehow managed to call upon Saturn, and she took action, finally compleating the Queen's last wish, giving the world a reset, as for the vampires i'm not completely sure"

Zero was going to ask what she meant when Serena talked giving them the answer.

Serena: "Mother created the vampires and other night creatures, they are bound to the night because they were born from the moon, mom wanted to help the humans develope, so she gave the vampires and werewolfs the task to teach the humans how to survive and how to hunt, the other creatures were supposed to protect them, my guess is that they lost their purpose or mind when the moon kingdom disapeared"

Michiru: "Serena!, are you alright?, how do you feel?"

Serena: "Yes, i'm fine, i'm mostly tired as I have never spent that much time in princess form, I guess it was a good thing I didn't took out the silver crystal, it may have caused more chaos, though looking at them I think they already know it's in my possesion"

Zero: "What's the silver crystal? Is it dangerous?"

Serena: "The silver crystal is the origin of my race, it is our life force, it's born from our strongest feeling, love, and our heart streghtens it's power, it's the most powerful object in this system, depending on how its used it can destroy the whole world or restore it, but using to much of its power could bring death to the user, the same can be said if the user is in an unstable state, like their feelings going haywire, such a thing happened to my mother, when I killed myself in the past, she was in an inmense grief, as such when she made use of her crystal she used to much power to banquish, and seal the evil forces and give us a second chance at life, if she was emotionally stable she might have survived using her crystal"
