Chapter 7

Author's Note: this chapter will be set in the present time, so Y/N will be twenty years old  In this rather than 8 years old

"Y/N?" "Yeah, is there any records of someone named Y/N being involved in Toman's activities?"

Naoto raised a brow in confusion, not knowing why this specific question was being asked to him. Takemichi saw this, getting up from the seat he was sitting on and explaining to Naoto "When I met Mikey, There was a little girl named Y/N that was with him."

"A little girl was with him?" Naoto asked, widening his eyes over this new set of information being given to him. Never would Naoto imagine that one of the leaders of Toman would have taken in a little girl, much less make her be apart if the gang in the first place.

"She called Mikey her big brother, in fact she called the entirety of Toman her brothers." Takemichi told Naoto, Naoto going silent as he tried to process what was being said to him. "I need to know if she is still connected with them!" Takemichi thought back to Y/N, remembering just how innocent she was with Mikey.

He was terrified of what might have happened to her now that Toman was a big scale criminal organization......

Naoto just sighed,  telling Takemichi"I'll see what I can do...". Naoto than went over to his computer, immediately going into Toman's police records and began to scroll through them. He hoped that he would be able to find one record involving someone named Y/N, as he wanted to know more about her.

A few minutes passed, Takemichi watching with anticipation and impatience. "Did you find anything yet?" Takemichi asked, Naoto shaking his head as he continued to scroll. Naoto than muttered under his breath "Dammit....", moving away from the computer and looking down to the floor. "Nothing pops up..." "Nothing?" Takemichi noticed that Naoto went quiet, feeling a sense of disappointment come from him.

".....try runaway cases instead." Takemichi told Naoto, Naoto looking up at him with wide eyes. "Runaway cases?" "Y/N told me she ran away from home, so she must have a report filed on her disappearance from home...." Naoto hesitantly nodded, going back to his computer and went to reports of runaway minors. After scrolling through it for some time, he finally found the report he was looking for.

"This her?" Naoto asked, moving to the side to show Takemichi the report. Takemichi nodded, seeing that the date that it was filed under being around twelve years ago. "Apparently, she was going to be sent to a mental institution yesterday her mother and stepfather before she ran away." Naoto said, Takemichi going into shock when he heard that. "A mental institution?" "Yeah, she has autism according to the mother...." Takemichi thought back to Y/N, now truly understanding why she decided to stay with Toman.

"But this is something that interests me the most," Naoto said, clicking on another police report that was attached to the one they were reading. What popped up made Takemichi widen his eyes, reading what the police report read. It was the mother and stepfamily of Y/N being reported dead, having been murdered in a home invasion. "This case you see here is connected to the Tokyo Manji Gang." Naoto told Takemichi, Takemichi looking at him and trying to process what he was being told.

"Y/N must be still connected to Tokyo Manji Gang somehow if this crime was committed...." Naoto said, Takemichi asking him "And how do we confirm this?". "It's simple," Naoto said, smiling as he realized he and Takemichi found an potential ally

"We ask the little sister of Toman herself......"
