Tanny: I need to talk to you. Can we meet somewhere?

You've been staring at your phone that was on the coffee table for what seemed like hours now. You had considered Nanaba's advice for you. No doubt she was right, she was always right. You huffed out your cheeks and folded your arms, staring intensely at your phone. "He isn't replying. Why isn't he replying? I literally sent it out two minutes ago, he should've replied by now. Right, Luna?" Your cat meowed lazily on your sofa.

Your legged bounced in anticipation as you debated if you should just give him a call. You shook your head. No. You couldn't think of what to say on the spot if you called. At least you could plan out what to say if you texted.

Your phone screen dimmed, indicating that it'll automatically lock soon. You bit your lip as you tapped it, the screen brightening again at your touch.

"This is stupid. I'm stupid." You sighed as you walked away from your phone, taking an occasional glance back to see if he replied. You trudged towards your fridge and opened it, reaching in to get a can of coke.

The ding of your phone caused you to snap up, accidentally releasing your grip on the can of coke. You couldn't be bothered about the can that was now rolling on the floor as you dashed towards your phone and picked it up to check.

Dad: Tennesee  , this is my daily good morning. Text.

Dad: *Sent a photo*

Dad: LOL , Your Father.

You let out a big sigh as you opened the photo your father sent. An image of a daisy with a butterfly was in the background. A huge, cursive font was above the daisy. 'Good Morning!' followed with a smaller, more legible text, 'Have a good day ahead!'

As you typed out your reply to your father, your phone buzzed. Jean's name appeared at the top of your notification bar.

You immediately typed out the rest of your reply to your dad and sent it out. You used a finger to scroll down, clicking on Jean's notification to open your conversation history with him.

Jean: Uhhh shit did I do something wrong? Sure, I'm with Sasha and Connie though. You can meet us at the overlook, I'll tell them to leave.

You shot up and ran into your room, changing out of your pyjamas. You took one last look at yourself in the mirror, making sure you at least looked presentable before leaving to meet up with Jean.

You panted as you walked up the hill. "Out of all the places in this damned town... Why the hell are they at the overlook?" You groaned, bending down slightly to rest your hands on your knees.

You straightened your back as you wiped the sweat off your forehead, continuing on your climb towards the overlook.

As you neared the main area of the overlook, you squinted your eyes and were able to make out three figures sitting on the grass. "Finally!" You cheered yourself on as you continued trudging your way up towards them.

"Tanny, you're here!" Sasha waved to you with a loaf of bread in her hand. "Why the hell did you guys choose to come here out of all the other places you could hang out at?" You hissed, yanking a bottle of cold water away from Jean. Jean didn't fight back for his bottle, instead, he gave you a big grin.

Connie dropped his own bottle of water, his hands reaching out to you, "I-Uh, wouldn't drink that if I were you!"

You ignored him, feeling your throat parched. You unscrewed the cap and chugged the water down, only to spit everything back out.
