George's POV

"Fred! I'm going to go and get some last minute presents for everyone! You coming with me?!" George shouted from the front door of their apartment. "I can't! I'm going over to Angelina's!" Fred shouted back from his room.

"Okay," he said in barely a whisper, walking out of the apartment gloomily. George was always happy for Fred and Angelina, but his own love life made it almost impossible to enjoy seeing his brother so happy with his girlfriend.

The only love that George has had any luck with was one night stands and 1 month long relationships. The worst part was that he couldn't remember any of their names, well, except for one, Y/n Y/l/n.

They had met in a local bar almost 4 years ago and after hours of talking (and hours of George falling in love), they slept together. But, much to George's dismay, the girl who owned his heart was gone the next morning.

She did leave a note though asking him to go to lunch that day but George freaked out and never went. He doesn't know why he didn't go, other than the fact that he was too afraid— too afraid to let himself love her in fear of the relationship ending quickly like every other one.

Little did he know, that night left an even bigger problem with Y/n.

Your POV

"Come on, Izzy," you told your three year old daughter as you were walking through Diagon Alley.

It was Christmas Eve and your babysitter couldn't work, which you completely understand, but carrying around a 3 year old child while shopping for her last minute presents was a little challenging.

The first couple of stops were a few different toy stores which took a lot longer than expected.

"Are you kidding me?!" you exclaimed when you looked at the time. You had been walking around for 4 hours and it was getting dark but you still had one more shop to go to. "I know, Izzy, I know," you cooed while petting your daughters hair, trying to calm her down. She was definitely antsy, thanks George.

"Mommy!" she cried, flailing her limbs around. "Just hold on!" you said, getting frustrated. You sighed as you entered the shop and set your daughter down so that you could look at the items they had to offer.

"Pink with stripes? Or purple with stripes?" you asked yourself as you were looking through some clothes that you could buy for Izzy. "

Ah, she won't remember anyway," you said to yourself after debating for a few seconds if you should have her try on the t-shirts to see if they'll look good on her or if you should leave it as a surprise for her.
