Luna had had a long day, to say the least. Essays upon essays, and even though she was smart, 3 essays, 5 pieces of parchment each, will make anyone tired.
She walked in to see you talking with a few of your friends. Luna didn't have very many before she met you, but now you both had a small group of friends in Ravenclaw.
You heard the common room door open, all of your heads turned toward it. A big smile came upon your face but quickly turned into a confused frown when you saw her tired face.
"Luna? What's wrong?" you asked, making 'come here' motions with your arms. She just tiredly smiled at you and walked over to you on the sofa.
"I'm just a wee bit tired," she yawned and sat down, immediately snuggling into your side. "Well get some rest, babe," you whispered and pet her hair. Not long after, Luna had gotten into your lap and fell asleep.
The group had been pretty good about staying quiet for the next few minutes, but then someone said a joke that made all of your friends burst into laughter. You then felt Luna start to stir awake.
"Shhh," you shushed all of your friends. They all immediately quieted down and apologized, going back to talking quietly.
You looked down at Luna and she started to get up, "Y/n-?" she started, but you quickly soothed her back down, "Shh, go back to bed baby, I'll be right here when you wake up.".
