"pool party". pt 2

the sirens of ambulances & police cars surrounded the neighborhood as they parked in the yard.

the party was still going though, after everything that had happened.

officers & paramedics were quickly passing through everyone in the yard. people were confused & worried. some people even left without knowing anything.

the officers & paramedics made it into the house
officer: "okay what's going on here ?" he looked at everyone in the room as the paramedics rushed to berlin & the girl.

you: "i did it"
the officer walked up to you & sat down to talk with you, you told him everything that happened.

the officer stood up, "okay guys, party is over. someone get everyone off of the property please"

pg: "yes sir" pg went outside & explained to everyone that they had to leave.

officer: "ma'am, you do realize you're going to be charged for this ? you're VERY lucky i'm not arresting you" he said.

you looked down. "i know, i'm sorry officer"
he patted your shoulder & walked over to the paramedics.

danielle, dontai & joe sat down beside you to talk while britani & the paramedics were figuring out what to do with berlin & the girl.

paramedic: "we have to get this girl to the hospital immediately, does anyone have any personal information about her ?"
nobody really knew who this girl was except for pg.
joe: "i think my bro knows her, i'll go get him" joe went outside to find pg.

you: "i'm not worried about her ! what's wrong with him ? i need to know what's wrong !" you were upset.
paramedics: "ma'am we're getting on it as fast as we can, there seems to be something in his system we think. we're gonna take him"

you started crying, britani came & sat beside you with her arm around you.
britani: "well, will he be okay ?"
paramedic: "yes, but we have to take him NOW"

the paramedics put him & the girl in separate ambulances & rushed them to the E.R.

britani & danielle were trying to comfort you.
danielle: "it's gonna be okay sis"
britani: "berlin is gonna be okay y/n i promise"
dontai: "shit, you did the right thing in my opinion y/n" you nodded, you nerves were all over the place. there wasn't much you wanted to say.

pg & joe came back inside & sat down.
pg: "this party definitely didn't end how i expected"
the room got kinda quiet while everyone stared around & twiddled their fingers.
you: "i'm so sorry pg, for real"
pg: "it's okay, this wasn't all your fault. shit happens"

this was definitely mostly your fault, but what were you supposed to do ? let that shit slide ? let berlin possibly DIE ? no.
you felt bad but tried to avoid the feeling.

joe: "so how was berlin ? what were they gonna do with him ?"
britani: "they said there might be something in his system that they needed to take him in asap"
joe: "i really hope he'll be okay man"
pg: "he'll be okay bro"
dontai: "when can we go see him ?"
danielle: "i think only one person can visit because of the covid restrictions"
britani: "well i think my mother should visit first you know ? that's her son" everyone agreed.

pg: "we gotta clean up guys, the yard is a mess & there's blood upstairs & around the stairs"

everyone got up & spread out to clean something.
pg, joe & dontai cleaned outside while you, danielle & britani cleaned inside.

it was almost 8:00 by the time everyone finished cleaning & came back inside.

dontai: "well we'll see y'all soon hopefully, me & danielle gotta get back to the house"
you all said goodbye & gave each other hugs.

pg: "y/n are you going home ?"
you didn't wanna be home alone. you & berlin lived together & you were always paranoid if he wasn't even the house for a few hours, much less a whole night.
you: "i don't know yet honestly"
pg: "well you know i got spare rooms here, you're more than welcome to stay here tonight"
you: "i appreciate that pg"
pg: "yeah fasho"
britani: "well i think ima head out y'all, i gotta get brazil from my moms before late"

y'all told britani goodbye, you hugged her & she left.
you & joe were staying with pg tonight.

y'all stayed up majority of the night eating snacks, watching movies & playing on the play station to keep your mind away from the negativity.

pg fixed up a spare room for you & you all fell asleep.

it was the next morning, you woke up to the sound of male voices downstairs, the more woke you got the more the voices became clear...you heard a voice quite similar to berlins, was that berlin ?

you got up, brushed your teeth & fixed yourself up a little & walked downstairs hoping it was berlin that you were hearing.

pg & joe seen you coming downstairs, berlin was there. he turned around & seen you before you even seen that he was down there

you: "OH MY GOD BABY YOU'RE HERE ! WHEN DID YOU GET HERE ?"
you ran up to each other, berlin picked you up & kissed you. you were crying because you were so happy & in relief to see that he was okay. he wiped your tears off & hugged you.

berlin: "yes baby i'm okay, calm down. i'm okay"
you: "i'm sorry, i was so worried about you. did they say what was in your system ?"
berlin: "i don't remember what pill they said it was but they said she had to have put something in a drink i was drinking for me to react like that. i basically got poisoned"
you: "oh my god, that bitch"
berlin grabbed your hands "calm down baby"
berlin: "speaking of that, when do you have to go to court for the charges ?"
you: "tomorrow"
berlin: "okay, i'm so happy they didn't take you to jail y/n. you got lucky fr"
you: "i know, but if i wouldn't have done all that you would literally be dead right now"
berlin hugged you tightly & thanked you, telling you how much he loved you with a kiss as he pulled away.

all of you guys including berlins mom, sister & niece went out to eat to enjoy each other's company & celebrate berlins recovery.

you & berlin went home after everything was over, you were so happy to be right next to him again from the moment you go to sleep til you wake up. you both went to court the next day to pay for the charges & everything worked out <3
