Heaven and Hell

2 am.

"Psst." Talia says lying awake in bed.

"Hmm." Vidia responds.

"I can't sleep." Talia says sitting up.

"What time is it?" Vidia asks. Talia checks the clock on her nightstand.

"2 a.m." Talia answers her.

"Tal, come on, it's lateeee." Vidia says tired.

"I know but turns out I have a lot on my mind, therefore making it hard to fall asleep." Talia explains.

"Then talk." Vidia says turning her head towards Talia. "And don't turn the light on." Vidia adds.

"Fine." Talia says putting her arm down. "I'm scared. Marriage is huge. And you were talking about kids earlier and I don't think I want that but what if Jimin does and and.." Talia stops.

"Vidia?" Talia looks down at Vidia to see if she is still awake. But no response.

Talias POV

She fell asleep.. today was a long day after all. But i need to get out, get fresh air. Take my mind off of things. 

I get out of bed and open my door to complete darkness, oh how I hate the dark.

"What are you doing up?"

"GASP" I jump in shock. Oh, it's Jimin.

"You scared me." I say still in shock.

"Sorry, I came out to get water." He says rubbing the back of his head.

"Ah." I respond. Making this situation awkward for some reason.

"Well goodnight." I say about to walk away.

"Is everything alright?" He asks grabbing my arm. My arm tingles to his touch.

"Yeah I'm fine, why wouldn't I be?" I respond trying to convince not only him but myself.

"You don't seem alright though." He says not convinced, neither was I though.

"I just needed some air." I respond, I pull my arm away. 

"Do you want some company?" He asks concerned. I think about it.

"Um, sure. Why not?" I say. Yay more awkward.

"Okay, lead the way." He says. I start walking for the stairs, him following me. I open the back door and head for my tree house, ah, the sacred tree house.

"You really love this tree house." He says climbing up the last set of wooden stairs.

"I do, my grandfather built it for me when I was 7, I used to come up here and read. As I grew up it was a little spot I could be in to help collect and organize my thoughts. I feel safe and secure in here." I explain, it truly was my favorite spot.

"It does feel really nice being in here, again." He responds looking around.

"So what's on your mind?" He asks. I take a minute to figure out what to say, since most of my thoughts revolve around him.

"The marriage thing still. I just cant seem to wrap my head around it." I say having second thoughts.

"I thought we went over this." Jimin says, clearly looking hurt.

"I know, but my whole life I've had this idea in my head where when I met a guy we would go on several dates, and knew each other for several years before marriage. Marriage is just huge for me! I can't-" I break up in the end, tears starting to stream down my face.

Jimin rushes to pull me into his arms, my head falls into his chest.

"I'm sorry." He says holding me tight.

"We can hold off the wedding! And go on as many dates as you want. I didn't realize this would be so overwhelming for you." He says trying to comfort me as my tears start to slow.

"It's okay, I just... I don't really understand either, it just came at me pretty fast." I say, my face still on his chest. He rubs my back to calm me down some more, we stay in this position. Nothing but the sound of crickets and a cold breeze surrounds us.

Next morning

Vidia wakes up with a big stretch while yawning.

"Tal, you awake?" She says sitting up to rub her eyes before looking over at Talia's bed.

'Where she go?' She thought. 

'Knock' 'Knock'

"Yeah, come in." Vidia says still trying to wake up.

Tae walks in. "Hey, have you seen Jimin?" He asks.

"Uh, no Tae. I just woke up." She says looking at him funny. He walks over to lean down and grabs her face to look at him.

"Don't start with me this early." He says in a very dominant tone, then smirks. Vidia flicks his arm away.

"Who the fuck are you?" She says annoyed. He stands up straight.

"Your soon to be husband." He says back.

"Whatever. Jimin's gone you said?" She changes the subject.

"Yeah." He answers.

"So is Tal, maybe they're together." She says checking her phone.

"Yeah, maybe." He says taking a seat next to Vidia.

"Can I help you?" Vidia questions looking over at him.

"Can I not sit next to you?" He questions.

"No." She answers.

"Well too bad." He says before suddenly falling into her lap.

"Tae!?" She says surprised.

"Hm." He groans. Vidia sighs and goes back on her phone.

"AHHH!" Jimin screams. Talia laughs at his reaction.

"It's okay! It will be over soon! One more loop!" She shouts back grabbing his hand.
