Talias POV
After the day Jimin brought me to that garden we haven't spoken much. Training went well and the doctor even came by to check on me. These wings were hurting less, which is good. But there was one thing I didn't understand still. Why me? Why is this happening to Me? Why did I see my mother randomly as if it wasn't a dream? So many questions, and only one person to ask.I walk up to his door and knock.
"Come in!" He shouts from inside. I open the door and see him at a desk by the balcony. He looks up at me as I walk over to him. I stop in front of his desk.
"Yes?" He asks putting down the pen he was holding.
"I have questions." I say. This seemed a little awkward, but there are things I must know.
"Sure. What is it you want to know?" He asks giving his full attention. I walk over to the couch and pat the cushion next to me. He stares at me like he's confused, but gets up and sits next to me.
"Well. Why me?" I ask.
"What?" He asks back.
"Why was I 'chosen' as the queen? I'm not even an angel!"I ask in more detail. Jimin looks at me as if I should something.
"Well... The thing is... You're half human.. Half angel..." He says. I stare at him in disbelief for a minute. I start laughing out of no where because his truly sounds absurd.
"Why are you laughing. I'm serious. Did the doctor not tell you?" He says. I stop laughing and look at him.
"Um.. No. She didn't. And this doesn't make sense!" I explain.
"She should have told you." Jimin says looking away and thinking.
"Well... like I said, she didn't. And wait. If I'm only half angel then still why me?" I ask still confused.
"Well because you're special." He says serious. I look at him shocked.
"Y-You can't just say things like that!" I say flustered. *Is he serious?! Tsk.*
"But it's true." Jimin says.
"Well. Whatever. I'm leaving." I turn back around to exit.
"Wait what!?" He yells before I leave. I turn back surprised.
"I'm going back to the room." I explain.
"Oh.. Okay. Talk later then." He says going back to his desk.
"Oh wait! One more thing." He says. *What is it now!*
"Yes?" I ask in the most nicest way.
"There is a ball coming up. Next week." He says.
"Okay?" I say confused as to why I needed to know.
"It's between demons and angels. One is held every 5 years now." He explains.
"Now? It occurred to me that demons and angels disliked each other." I say *Everything is so just so confusing*
"Well, a meeting was held a while back, and now we have a grand ball. I guess it was a means to get along. But from what I have heard, a demon and angel had fallen in love so decided that their kind should get along as well. Instead of being enemies." He explains. *I was not expecting a story*
"That is the most weirdest and sorry to be rude, but dumbest story I have ever heard. How did it end up for them?" I say, regretting since it did sound mean.
"That was rude. And they died. Together. In peace. But we're resented by everyone. Probably the only thing we had in common back then. Of course, I was younger." He explains.
