The Break-Up

After a few months after Carol took in Whitty at her place, Whitty was able to get back up onto his on feet and to not be see by the people that are after him. Later on, Whitty eventually got his own place and thanked Carol for her kindness and still had contact with her, since now they were good friends.

Late one night, after Whitty had just had fallen asleep a few hours earlier, he heard a loud knock at his door in his single apartment. He thought, "Are the neighbors really being this loud at this time?" then he heard the loud knock again, but much faster. Then he groaned and got up out of his bed, and said to himself, "Who could be knocking on my door this late?' then he opened the door, surprised to see Carol in tears with her items in hand and had tears running down her cheeks, like she had been crying earlier. Whitty asked, "What happened Carol?, and why are you here at this time at night!?!" being concerned. 

Carol replied after wiping some of her tears, "My ex... they, dumped me....Sunday..." then Whitty brought the small lady in with her items and sat her onto the couch in his living room. Whitty then asked, "Would you like to stay the night at my place? since, you know, I owe you since you helped me out a few months ago." then Carol replied, "Well, you are the first person I've would've asked to stay the night at their house. heh, sure I guess since I have nowhere else to go."

Whitty and Carol had gotten to bed and it had started to rain outside. The thunder roared and the lightning rumbled while the storm thrashed outside. Whitty had set up the couch for Carol to sleep on which was fine for her, but the one thing that scared her was the lighting and thunder roaring outside. She woke up startled after a loud crack of thunder from the storm, and she had made her way into Whitty's bedroom. 

Carol then knocked on Whitty's bedroom door which was closed at the time. Then she heard a shuffle from the other side and saw Whitty open the door in his short and tank top, and asked "Is there something you needed Carol?" Whitty asked sleepily. Then Carol replied, "I know I may sound kinda scared about this but, do you mind if I could sleep with you tonight?" then Whitty replied, "Are you scared of the thunder?" Carol replied, "NO!....." then Whitty raised an eye to that response then Carol continued, "...yes." embarrassed. Then Whitty said, "you can sleep with me in my bed, as long as you promise you don't get scared with me." then Carol's eyes glowed and said, "Promise!" then they made their way into the large bed and fell asleep with holding Carol in his arms and Carol enjoying the comfort of someone caring. 

**Sorry for not updating this for so long, I've been having a writing block and just came up with a idea very late at night, and also been busy with my personal life so apologies in advance for not updating much!**
