Sam decided to stay home that day because of the breakup, and she got a video call from her sister Melanie.

"Hey." Melanie spoke from the other line.

"Hey, Mel. How are things over there?"

"I'm not the one you should be concerned about. I'm more worried about you. How are you holding up from the breakup?"

"Melanie, I told you a bunch of times to not talk about it anymore."

"Sam, I'm serious. This is your first serious relationship and it's over because of a fake promise."

"It's not fake if both parties treat it as if it was real." She sighed. "I'll admit, I do feel like trash." She laughed.

"Did you talk to them recently?" Melanie asked.

"They called and texted. Freddie even sent me letters. I didn't respond."

"You can't keep ignoring them, can you?"

"I know, I know. I'm just really frustrated and confused now, Melanie. Don't force me." Sam sunk her head into her arms.

"Alright, I won't. I just hope you know what to do next."

--

"Spencer!" Carly burst into the living room after school that day, with Freddie behind her.

"Freddie! Been a while since you came here." Spencer walked into the living room.

"That's not the point now, Spencer. We need your help!" Carly spoke before Freddie could respond.

"What?" Spencer asked.

"We need you to text Sam!"

"What?"

"Yes. Text Sam! Didn't you ask me to find a way to get Sam and Freddie back together?"

"Yeah?"

"You are the way! All we need you to do is to text Sam and ask her to meet you so that Freddie and I can replace you to meet her!"

"I don't think that a good idea."

"Spencer, among the three of us, you're the only person Sam would talk to."

"Are you sure it's a good idea?" Spencer asked and turned to Freddie. "What do you say?"

Freddie shrugged. "I've ran out of ideas to get Sam's attention. If whatever Carly says might work I'll take it."

"It's a good idea, Spencer! Once we're in public, Sam wouldn't go all crazy on us since people recognize us from iCarly, so she has no choice but to keep her cool! It's foolproof!"

Spencer sighed and took out his phone. "I'm still against this but if it can help you guys then.. I guess I'll help."

--

Spencer had texted Sam to meet him the next day as he wanted to show her something. He initially suggested she meet him at Bushwell but Carly and Freddie told him to change the venue. Besides, Sam wouldn't show up there anyways. They decided to meet by the park nearby.

"Where's Spencer?" Sam sighed and looked at her watch. Spencer was late. She decided to dial his phone.

"Pick up." Sam groaned as the phone went to voicemail. She sat by one of the benches nearby and looked around to see if Spencer was close by.

A few feet away, Carly, Freddie and Spencer were spying on Sam from a bush.

"Great work, Spencer. I wasn't wrong when I say she would definitely meet you." Carly smirked.

Spencer rolled his eyes. "She's been calling for 5 minutes. Just go up to her already! Don't make her wait."

Carly and Freddie nodded and went towards Sam.

"Sam?" Carly softly said.

Sam turned around her eyes widened. She rolled her eyes and got up to leave but Freddie and Carly quickly stopped at her tracks.

"Sam, wait. Let us talk." Freddie pleaded.

"Talk? You wanna talk? You guys came here together, and you still say you have nothing going on."

"We came to apologize, and straighten things out."

"If you want my blessings then take it, I'll give you my blessings." Sam said sarcastically.

"Sam, just listen to them." Spencer dashed towards them.

"You were in on this? So your whole text was just a ruse to lure me out?"

Spencer gulped and nodded. "I only did this to help you guys make up. Just listen to them, please."

Sam looked at the three of them and sighed. "Fine! Talk."

Carly and Freddie both smiled as the three sat down together to speak.

"I just wanted to say, I'm sorry." Carly started.

"That's all you've been saying the past few weeks, Carly Shay. There's nothing else?" Sam rolled her eyes again.

"I shouldn't have went too far with this whole plan. I should've thought of your feelings before going forward with asking Freddie to pretend to be my boyfriend. I should've told you I had feelings for him-"

"Wait, you had feelings for him?" Sam interrupted. "Did you know about this?" She turned to Freddie.

"I guess that explains why she kissed me."

Sam gave out a big sigh. "Well. I guess, congratulations. You both got what you wanted."
