Story/movie where we follow around a villain
It studies how much effort it really takes to be kind
People can be saying 'it costs nothing to be kind' and then we can see it contrast with the things people give up for others, or the energy it takes for some people to be 'kind'
Then there's this one villain who sees this and decides not to be kind, but quickly figures out it costs things to be 'evil' too
It costs consciousness, costs relationships etc
So they decide to not be evil, but not to be kind. They find its much simpler and yet theyre still labelled as a 'villain' just because theyre not actively going out to be kind.
