Room 51

Kei roamed on the hallway of the hospital. He hates hospitals but he can't do anything about it since his parents admitted him here to cure him but it's not helping at all, his parents are just overacting. The smell of the antiseptic, medicine, scent of fresh flowers and the metallic smell of blood was too much for his distaste. Kei's stomach churns because of the unpleasant feeling of worry and disgust.

He sighed and stopped on his tracks to sit down on the metal bench that's supposed to be for the relatives of the other patients. Who cares? He's a patient here too and he needs a rest from all the needles that keep penetrating his poor skin.

"He's still asleep, it's been a week." A group of highschool students exited a room not so far from his designated room but he actually couldn't care less. Kei fixed the hem of his hospital gown and his dextrose too.

"Shut up idiot. Just pray that he won't sleep for more than half a year again." A black haired guy smacked the head of an orange haired boy who just pouted and brushed his hair.

Karasuno High School. He was supposed to enter that school last year but his damn disease worsened and he can't even rest properly nor think straight. He can't stay asleep or you can just say that he can't sleep. If more days, weeks or months will pass by, his body can't stand this fatigue and lack of sleep.

"Let's just go back next week!" The bald man said looking at the short person beside him who immediately agreed with his words.

"Hmm, I know and let's bring some soggy fries for our sleeping beauty." A grey haired man said, smiling at everyone. Kei averted his eyes when the group was near him. Sleeping beauty? He didn't hear that someone in a coma was in this ward. When the group passed by him, Kei hid his face.

He stood up and walked on the said room, dragging his dextrose with him. Seriously, he didn't know what he's doing. He never stuck his nose on someone's business before. He didn't care at all but this said 'Sleeping Beauty' just piqued his curiosity. He's been living in this ward for more than two years and he never heard about someone in a coma here either.

On the small glass window of the door, all Kei can see is the beautiful picture window with the cherry blossoms being blown by the wind. The room was bright even without the fluorescent light on. There was a sofa and a small coffee table on the side with a basket of flowers on top. On the right, all he can see is covered feet.

"It won't hurt to take a peek." Kei said and held the door knob, pushing it open. The first thing that welcomed him was the fresh air from the opened window mixed with the smell of antiseptic and medicine. There's also a hint of fresh flowers. The room was unexpectedly warm and relaxing.

Kei walked near the hospital bed. There lies a beautiful boy– he's straight though, it's just that this boy was exceptionally beautiful. The boy has green dyed hair with a strand of hair sticking on top of his hair. Half of his body was covered with white silk. His eyes were closed and he looked so calm sleeping on the bed. There's no other machine that's attached in his body except for his dextrose.

"Are you really in a coma?" Kei asked, raising his eyebrow. He walks on the side table and picks up a picture frame on the side. There's more than ten men and there is this boy in the middle smiling widely. "Tadashi Tadashi, Karasuno Volleyball Team?" Kei's face scrunches in jealousy. "Did you hit your head and fall into a coma?" Kei smirked.

He looks like a thief in this room but who cares, the atmosphere in this room is calming him more than his room. Kei sat on the couch and looked outside the window. "I'm trespassing." Kei chuckled. He just shrugged the thought away and looked at the beautiful view.
