After winning an unexpected photography contest, twenty-four year old Avery Lawrence figures he has his life already planned, which made him over the moon for his free soul. He expected a calming trip to Greece where he would be mentored by retired...
I never really imagined writing a young adult love story novel because I was afraid nobody would like this type of book, nowadays people are more interested in a drama infested novel that had major cliff-hangers and a thriller romance so I really pushed myself away from writing "Love Tides".
But, I'm still ecstatic about finishing this novel, creating the story and the characters was such a fun and elaborate process that I love to take up on and it's so interesting how emotionally connected to character the author gets because of its love and truly I was mor than passionate about this novel.
I'd honestly owe this novel to my sister Victoria, she'd been a greater part taker on this story — she was the one who mostly introduced me to my large love that I have now for all Greek things and mythology. You're an incredible sister, I love you.

I'm not particularly sure what brought me to write "Love Tides". It was big idea that came to mind in a thought of a short and light hearted novel. Greece and it's culture always really struck out to me and I really wanted to portray that through a story of my own.
I think building Avery and Penelope's relationship was probably one of my favorites because I really made them based on something that's not toxic or in any way violent — their relationship is what I imagine a healthy and real one to be like, they have a trusting friendship and a large love for each other.

I'm very appreciative for the support over this novel and I truly hope you all enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
