Kageyama's POV

Wait what? Sekai Quill.... Hmm seems familiar.. I should look it up.

I opened Google on my phone and started browsing the name "Sekai Quill". I already heard about this company a while ago from my co - worker. Correction former co - worker.

There were 5 famous novelist working here? Woah.. They must be pretty well-known. Hmm, weird.. I've only worked in such a small company. How did they know about me? Enough thinking.

01.45 PM

I woke up feeling more sore somehow. I decided to feed Mint tea cat food.

It was time to respond to the e-mail. I had made a lot of drafts in my notes, it was ridiculous and pathetic to look at. But it was fine as long as I had given a proper response.

I accepted the interview invitation and was told the interview would be next week. I was overwhelmed since I didn't think it would be that fast. But no worries, I still have time to prepare.

I mean, nothing could go wrong. Right? Please don't jinx it.

I told Miwa about the news, and she was happy for me. I didn't have a doubt she would be disappointed, but it still feels nice to have support from a family member.

The day of the interview

Miwa had come to my apartment in the morning because she was kicked out of her flat for some reason, I haven't ask her why. She seemed exhausted and had an eye bag? She really doesn't seem fine but she still has the widest smile when she showed up to my door. In all honesty, I hated that.

"God, what happened? " was probably a more sympathetic thought but I hated that smile. I always despise a smile full of lies. Why smiling when you know you're hurting? Probably not to make me worried. So selfless.

"Good luck for the interview, dude! You can do it. Just don't be nervous. " Miwa said with a beaming smile.

"Yeah, thanks. "

I left and Miwa walked back inside, she seemed upset. I'm going to buy her milk bread when I'm done with the interview.

It was kinda a habit for the both of us to buy milk bread whenever one of us was feeling down. Father was the one that started that habit. He would always buy mother her favorite food whenever she had a bad day. I guess we were influenced by him. That's one thing that I'm grateful for having a father.
