I woke up to see Gabriel still sleeping. I got up and walked to the bathroom turning on the water.

I took a quick shower and got ready. I look out the bathroom door to see Gabriel sleeping still.

I left the room and went straight to the kitchen having some breakfast.

I finished my breakfast and put it in the sink.

I went back to the room and heard the water on from the shower turn off.

I went inside the bathroom and saw Gabriel naked body his six pack water dipping off is hair the veins popping out below his six pack.

"What are you staring at"

"Nothing I just came in here to put on some perfume"

"Why do you need perfume"

"I'm going to the airport to go pick up my family they came down for the wedding"

"Wait we're still getting married but you said that the wedding canceled"

"I changed my mind"

He came closer to me and kisses me on the lips slapping my butt.

I pulled away and looked at my phone checking what time it was that they arrived just now.

I gave him one last kiss and left the house with Alex.

We arrived at the airport and I saw my mom and dad my siblings my brother in-law two random girls that were by my two brothers side and my baby niece. I seen my three cusion and grandparents and aunts and uncles from both sides.

I realized that we are going to need another car more like three. Because my cousins are married and have kids.

Alex calls in for more help knowing we can't fit everyone in one car.

Once we loaded everyone in a car we headed back to the house.

Gabriel walked down stairs as he say everyone in the living room I walked up to him grabbing him to meet the family.

"¿Puedo hacer que todos presten atención? Este es Gabriel, mi prometido."

(Can I get everyone to pay attention? This is Gabriel, my fiancé.)

"Hi everyone some of y'all already know me already but I have to go somewhere but make y'all self at home"

When Gabriel said that my whole mood change. He left the room and everyone stared at me.

"Gabriel tiene algunos asuntos que atender, ya saben lo que hace, pero volverá pronto".

(Gabriel has some business to attend to, you know what he does, but he will be back soon)

My family just kept on talking about things and we all just laughed. Nobody knows I'm pregnant besides Sofia and Lia and Alex.

I can't wait to tell my family that I'm pregnant.

Gabriel came back when he's been gone for two hours and didn't even say anything when he came inside he went straight to the room.

Sofia looked at me giving a confused look. I got up from the table and walked to the room.

I opened the door to see Gabriel standing outside on the balcony. I opened the door and hugged him from behind.

He let out a sigh

"My dad wants to come to the wedding and I told him not to come with his new wife"

"Why is there a problem"

"Yes there is a problem"

"My mom died two years ago because of him three months later he got married to fucking Emma"

"How did your mom died"

"My dad was supposed to take my mom on a date for there anniversary but he was late because he was cheating on her"

"She waited for him at the restaurant these people came in and was trying to look for my dad but he wasn't there just my mom"

"Gabriel you don't have to finish"

His voice started to break his eyes were getting watery. He was clinching his fist ready to punch someone in the face.

"Before she died my dad was running late and she texted me wondering if I would join her... So I agreed and got ready but soon as I got there police where there holding it off as a crime scene"

"They killed her and left a message for him in her blood on the wall."

I pulled gabrial into my arms as he started to cry on my chest.he squeezed me tightly but I didn't mind.

He was heart broken I would feel the same if I lost one of my parents.

He never spoke about his mom even if I tried to ask he would always shrug it off and now I know why.

The next morning

I woke up to see Gabriel not laying down besides me.

I got up and walked down stairs to my family dancing to banda music. I see my Tia trying to teach Gabriel how to dance.

My Tia Ana is the dancer in the family if you can't dance to music that plays she'll teach you right away.

My family was different we always did everything big and we didn't care. If someone needed help we helped no matter the cost.

I watched how uncomfortable Gabriel was every time my Tia tried to grab his butt to pull him closer. Which made me laugh my butt off.

"Diana don't you remember I had to teach how to dance because you had no rhythm"

"Yes Tia Ana"

My Tia Ana helped raised me and my siblings when my mamá was away. She always a second mom to me.

"Diana hice tus tamales favoritos"
(Diana I made your favorite tamales)

"Gracias mamá Jimena" I kissed her on the cheek.

Everybody seated at the table and started to dig in.

"Diana I invited somebody to the wedding who missed you so much from mexico" mamá Jimena said with not so good english

"Who mamá Jimena"

"Carlos"

I choked on my food when she said that name. Sofia and my brothers and my cousin's started laughing.

"Who's carlos" Gabriel asked

"He was Diana boyfriend in mexico when they were 14 years old until she moved back to New Orleans" Tia Ana says

"They dated for 3 years" mamá Frida says

"I don't think Gabriel wants to know about carlos" I said to my family

"no please continue I like to know about more about Carlos after all he is coming to the wedding" Gabriel says giving me a smirk.

Mamá Jimena and mamá Frida both look at each other and started to go into detail about carlos and me.
