I guess we're dating now

The party

Quick note, this is my first book so it's not that good so please leave me some tips but please don't be mean.

After the movie all the cousins went to bed, Magnus who forgot that Bobby and Mathew were sleeping in his room had to wait until he was sure that they were asleep before slipping out of his window meeting Annabeth.

"Sorry I'm late they should be here soon."

"Whatever," she mumbled smiling at her phone "my boyfriend keeps texting me."

"Percy right?"

"Yeah, we're going to NRU together next year."
(Annabeth is 1 year older then Magnus)

"That's exciting."

"Yeah they have a great architecture program." Her eyes lit up while saying that. Just then blitzens car pulled up the two chases climbed into the backseat.
The ride Mostly consisted of arguing from a very happy couple, and Alex screaming obnoxiously to songs on the radio.

Once they got there the group mostly split up Sam finding her boyfriend Amir and going leaving to talk to him while Alex follow them to chaperone. Halfborn and mallory left to probably make out in a corner or something same with Blitzen and Hearth. TJ and Annabeth started up a conversation about God knows what, that left Magnus alone by the food. That was until Alex came over.
"Sup."

"Hey"

"Wanna dance?" Magnus eyes widened.

"Oh come on." Alex dragged him to where everyone else was dancing. (I'm in middle school and never been to a party I don't know if people dance again it's for plot)

"I love this song!" Alex yelled so Magnus could hear him, the song that was playing was sports by beach bunny (im listening to that song right now) we danced, he twirled magnus even though magnus has a good 5 inches on him. The two boys felt so at peace and comfortable.

"Magnus!" Magnus was snapped out of his trance by Annabeth, "we need to go now!"
"What why?"
"Aunt Natalie just texted me asking where we are!"
"Oh shit." Alex said helpfully.
