On a sunny warm afternoon, a Lamia named Miia was looking for a nice child to adopt. She was looking for a child because she was informed that The Interspecies Exchange Program is now allowing adoption, Ms. Smith has informed Miia about that information. While she was searching through the adoption program, she found a cute little boy named Y/N, it said on his bio that he likes to cuddle and be around people and monsters, and his birthday was exactly 1 week from now. She thought that was cute and that she would give him a nice birthday present by adopting him and of course spoil him the next day.
Time-skip 1 Week
Miia got the house ready for her new baby by getting a room ready for him, got his favourite food and drinks, she even got him toys to enjoy. Miia made her way to the orphanage and was greeted by the caretakers.
Caretaker: Hello, ma'am. Are you Miia and here to adopt Y/N?
Miia: Yes I am.
Caretaker: Just give me a minute and then I will go tell Y/N to get ready.
Miia: Thank you.
(Y/N POV): 4 years old
I like to talk to monsters because they are nice. A couple of months ago my "parents" brought me to an orphanage. They would yell at me a lot and it scared me whenever they did. They brought me here because they said that they "didn't have enough money and this is the only way where they can afford anything for themselves." My parents also didn't like monsters and told me not to talk to them and stay away from them as possible, I never listened to that. I don't like it here because the other kids are mean to me and tease me about my height. I have to wake up to a bell every morning and fight for breakfast. I like the caretakers more than the other kids because I choose to play the caretaker. After all, they are nicer. Today was a good day because it is my birthday and I turned four years old, I also got first to breakfast and I got to play with my favourite caretaker, little did I know that today was going to get even better. One of the caretakers came up to me and had papers in her hand.
Caretaker: Y/N, let's go and get your bags ready because someone wants to adopt you.
Me: Really?!
She helped me get all of my stuff ready and when we got out to the main room, I saw a lady with pink hair and gold eyes waiting there but she didn't have legs, she had a snake tail.

Caretaker: Alright Miia, here is your new child. This is Y/N.
I think the snake lady's name is Miia. She came up to me and picked me up and hugged me and gave me a lot of kisses on my cheek. I was enjoying being with her already, I can't wait to live with her, I think she is really pretty and nice.
Miia: You are so cute and so small.~ I'm Miia, I'm going to be your new mommy. How old are you?
