Artemis has just been introduced to the team when Red Arrow came in. After a brief spat between the arrow users, Red explained why he came.
Red Arrow: I came for a reason. A reason named Dr. Serling Roquette.
Dick typed on his gauntlet, showing Roquette to everyone.
Dick: Nano-robotics genius and claytronics expert at Royal University in Star City vanished two weeks ago.
Red Arrow: Abducted two weeks ago by the League of Shadows.
Dick: Whoa. You want us to rescue her from The Shadows? Maybe Shade can be helpful, he knows the most about the Shadows.
Red Arrow: I already rescued her and Shade is not a friend.
Batman: His loyalty is to the League of Shadows, he is not a part of this team.
Dick looked a little saddened by that, enjoying his brief company.
Wally: So, what are we doing?
Red Arrow: The shadows coerced her into creating a weapon. Doc calls it the Fog. Comprised of millions of microscopic robots. Nanotech infiltrators capable of disintegrating anything in their path. Concrete, steel, flesh, bone. But its true purpose isn't mere destruction. It's theft. The infiltrators eat and store raw data from any computer system and deliver the stolen intel to The Shadows. Providing them access to weapons, strategic defense, cutting edge science and tech.
Artemis: Perfect for extortion, manipulation, power broking. Yeah. Sounds like The Shadows.
Wally: Like you know anything about The Shadows.
Artemis smirked at Wally.
Artemis: Who are you?!
Red Arrow: Roquette's working on a virus to render the fog inert.
Dick: But if The Shadows know she can do that-
Red Arrow: They'll target her and I guarantee your "friend" will be part of the group heading for her. Right now, the doctor is off the grid. I stashed her at the local high school's computer lab.
After another brief spat with Green and Red Arrow, Red Arrow left and the team got ready to protect the doctor. Batman pulled Green Arrow off to the side.
Batman: Shade wasn't lying. DNA analysis proves that he is her brother.
Green Arrow: What do we do with this information? Do we tell her?
Green Arrow looked at Artemis who was prepping to leave with the rest of the group.
Batman: No, we keep our promise to protect his secret as well as the promise to protect Artemis'.
Green Arrow: And what about the possibility of him attacking the team on this mission?
Batman: With his sister on the team plus his rule against killing anyone but his target, he won't be a problem.
Green Arrow: You seem very okay about this. You're not thinking of having him join the team, right? You said he was loyal to the League.
Batman: He's 15, he's still growing up. He still has time to get out of this, he just needs people to guide him in the right direction.
Green Arrow: If they don't end up hating him after tonight.

I was in a wooded area, looking at the school I learned housed Roquette. I promised her that if she finished the device that I wouldn't have to kill her and now my mission is to kill her. But there's another way, if I can slow her progress or stop it irreversibly then The Shadows get what they want and I don't have to kill anyone.
