Pressure

Lunchtime rolled around and everyone was talking loudly with each other, about how much they enjoyed seeing one another try their best. Sero was blabbering on about something like; "I would've gotten a nicer spot in the competition, if it hadn't been for Mineta grabbing on to me like a roll of sticky tape." Kirishima was silently zoned out whilst chewing on the same piece of pork bun, slowly. Mina's focus peeked towards Kirishima. He hadn't been himself since morning. She pinched him on the arm and he quickly reacted. "Ow -" Mina looked at him with a worried smile. "Sorry - did I freak you out this morning,,?" Kirishima shook his head. "Nah it's fine dude,, I'll see you after lunch."

He picked up his unfinished lunch and walked away. "Ughhh! This is so frustrating! He's been down all morning and it might be because of me!" The embittered girl whined and buried her face in the palms of her hands. "What did you say to him?" Kaminari hadn't been paying attention before now and actually seemed like he was worried about Mina's sudden outburst as well. "Well,," She looked down realising that what she'd said might've been pushing too much to what should've been Kirishima's own decision to make. "I told him to confess to Bakugou."

The two boys looked at her. "It's their business y'know? If Kirishima doesn't have the courage right now, he shouldn't be pressured to take another step." They all looked at each other, and Mina nodded in agreement. "But besides all of that -" Kaminari started. "He might not be acting like this because of what you said! It might be something different?" The goofy blonde boy smiled, trying to cheer up his friend. "I guess there may be some truth in that." Mina smiled back and tried reassuring herself that it must've been something else, but in the back of her mind, she knew that what she had said had thrown Kirishima off.

Mai here!! Sorry that this chapter is a little shorter than the last one lmao
I have the whole story fully written and I parted them up in sections so it's easier for me to write the chapters onto here without getting confused, and some of the sections are smaller than other sections so therefore the chapters are shorter (I hope that made sense)
