You and Bucky headed out seeing as you had no other choice. An idea popped in your head. "Would you like to see my sister?" you asked, keeping your eyes on the ground. You still tried to avoid making eye contact with Bucky but you were getting a little better at looking at his eyes. Bucky looked at you a bit surprised. You had told him how she died but never showed him her grave. "I'm sure she wouldn't mind" you slowly got up. "Hold your horses, you still need to rest" Tony spoke up. You groaned. "I don't want to rest. I wanna go out already" Tony crossed his arms and raised a brow. "Last time you went out, you got kidnapped" you sighed then headed back to the room and on the bed. Tony hooked the IV back in your arms then hooked a few other things and checked on you. You didn't catch a glimpse of Tony's expression but Bucky did. "Alright crazy skeleton lady. Everything seems good" Tony put on a smile and you turned to face him. "Thanks I guess. I'm gonna snooze only for a bit and no more than that" you then turned over on your side and put the covers over yourself and drifted off to sleep

Pov switch

Tony and Bucky headed out the room and closed the door behind them. "Tony, what's wrong with [y/n]? I saw your expression" Bucky spoke up before Tony could leave. Tony turned to Bucky. "[y/n]'s state with that serum she kept being injected with, has gotten worse. H.Y.D.R.A must've put some in her system to keep her from shifting. One more injection and [y/n]...she'd be dead. I have to figure out quickly about how to remove it from her system" Tony said as he quickly walked off. Bucky frowned and sat on the floor. He thought about what would happen if you had died. His first thought was the smile you gave him, the same day you got kidnapped. That gorgeous smile of yours and how it complemented your [h/l], [h/c]. How your [e/c] eye's seemed to have sparkles in them whenever you'd see him, how you'd actually listen to his boring stories but it always made you smile for some reason. Bucky then realized he didn't want to lose you and wanted to hold you to let you know that someone was here for you. He then also realized how could someone like you ever love a person like him. He got up from the floor and entered the room and quietly closed the door behind him and looked at your sleeping face. He smiled then sat on a chair and fell asleep.

Pov switch

You woke up to a dark room and you were sitting in a chair. Someone came out from the shadows. It was you but also not you. It was your witch form but it seemed as though you weren't that form but someone else was. "[y/n], you poor beauty. You are blinded by these people. What have they done to earn you? From the beginning they never liked you and it sure didn't help when you shifted" the being came up to you and caressed your cheek. "Beauty, you can do better. Leave them and be free at last, I'll worry about that pirate guy. You can finally find a home for yourself" the being smiled at you.

You glared at them. "Why should I listen to you. You have been a curse to me since birth. My father died because I was reckless enough to run after a rabbit that had fled their farm. My sister died protecting me because I was too weak to even save us both." your tone was very poisonous but the being just kept looking at you. "And your mother died by the hands of you and soon, the same fate will happen again and again and again. Beauty you are no saviour, you'll bring nothing but death unless you leave" the being let go of your cheek. "I won't leave. For the past months of staying with the avengers, they understood my situation and I understood my place in the avengers" you hissed.

"Beauty. You are staying because of that man. That man is the only one keeping you from killing yourself--if you can't do something so simple--I'll finish it for you--[y/n]" the being then clenched onto your throat and your breath escaped your body. "Seems as though this mind serum won't work on you. I'll be sure to destroy everything you love [y/n] and you'll be forced to be in the front seat watching the chaos happening" the being growled. You jolted up and clenched onto the sheets. You stopped breathing and carefully inhaled and exhaled. Once your breath was steady again, you looked around the room and spotted a sleeping Bucky on the chair.

You smiled at how handsome he looked then mentally slapped yourself. 'What am I thinking?! [y/n] you crazy lunatic!' you yelled at yourself but you couldn't help but stare at Bucky. His brown locks rested on half of his face, seeing as he's sleeping in a chair. You got up from the bed and headed over to Bucky and poked his arm and he immediately jolted up. You giggled at his reaction. "Hey sleeping beauty. Sorry to wake you but you seemed--well you looked uncomfortable. Wanna sleep on the bed?" you asked. "First off, what are you doing up so late? And second, I'm not the patient here, you are. Thanks for asking but this chair is comfy" Bucky said as he made a relaxing face.

"Fine we'll sleep together--and I uh" you sighed. "I had a bad dream" you looked down, ashamed you would say such a thing to a man. "Bucky opened his eyes and looked at you for a bit. "Fine, I'll sleep on the bed with you since you had a wittle nightmawer" Bucky teased you in a childish voice for the last part and you laughed at him then you both made your way to the bed and settled in the bed. "Goodnight Bucky" you yawned a bit and slowly fell asleep. Bucky watched as your eyelids hid your beautiful [e/c] eye's but smiled that you'd tell him if you had a nightmare. He soon after, fell asleep and had wholesome dreams.

Sorry everyone for another short story. I feel like I'm not even close to making them fall in love so I'm gonna make chapter 11 and then after that, I'll have to do a fast forward in time to get to the main plot. I want to make more development with you and Bucky but I feel like I'm failing big time so I might have to skip some time with you guys. Hope you guys understand but don't worry I'll make some memories for you and Bucky that helped out with the development but for now, it has to be main plot time. Again, hope you guys understand!
