It has been 3 years since the prophecy ended, and 2 since Darkstalker was defeated. Nobody knows how it was done, but it happened.

When White Sand woke up, he got a message from one of the newer recruits in the Outclaws. He had seemed tired, supposing that he had run a long way across the palace they were now staying in.

"White Sand, sir! I have a message for you, sir!" He said, huffing in between 'sirs'.

"I already told all the new comers to not call anybody 'sir'. Does Thorn tell you guys to call us this?" He said, questioning whether she thought it was funny or not, "So, what is this message you needed to deliver to me? You woke me up from an amazing dream."

The recruit was panting, then bowed his head quickly. "Sorry, White Sand, sir. I mean, uh, sorry Sand.", the messenger said, catching himself.

"I have a message, *HUFF* from Queen Thorn *HUFF*" The messenger blurted out, startling White Sand.

"Well, what is it then?" White Sand nervously said, wondering if Queen Thorn had finally decided to cut some of her guards. "Here", the messenger said, handing him a closed slip.

As he opened it, White Sand had prepared for the worst, yet when he actually read the letter, he was filled with a feeling of relief. For about a second.

"Wait, leaving!? Jade Mountain!? Queen Thorn can't just send us away! She can't force her guards to leave!", "Sorry, but it's just you sir..." the messenger said quickly, which only infuriated White Sand even more.

After this angering revelation, White Sand kicked the messenger out of his quarters, but soon after calmed down realizing that this WAS an order from his queen. "I guess there isn't any way I could get around this, is there?" he said, talking to himself.

The very next morning, he had his things packed by dawn and was ready to leave, but not without saying goodbye to a few dragons first.

"It's good to hear that you took my message calmly," Queen Thorn said, "and I'm glad that you didn't lash out at the messenger." White Sand looked over at the messenger on the other side of the room while Thorn had her back turned, and quickly flashed an 'I'm sorry' face at him.

White Sand listened closely to the Queen as she scolded him for the last times he had lashed out at dragons. After she had finished, White Sand quickly jumped in so he could hurry the conversation.

"Queen Thorn, I am grateful for the opportunity, truly, and cannot wait to leave. I wanted to come here and say goodbye before I left." He said hurriedly, trying to end the conversation.

"Oh, sorry, well then, goodbye White Sand." Queen Thorn said to him. "Goodbye, Queen Thorn." He responded, about-facing and taking his leave.
