Part 5 : Teenage Love Affair

The boy's Lime light

He was heading near home as he was panting. He had deep breaths yet he keeps on walking fast as he just went in front of the door. He holds the knob and twist it to open it. But it was locked.

He looked down and saw the doormat. He then raises the doormat and saw a key with a note under it. He took the key and read the note.

"Tommy, I've went out to go to a friend who has a important matter to talk with me. I made you dinner in the fridge. Take care. Do your assignments, okay?

Love,

Mom. 

He seemed convinced and then went inside the house. He locks the door and puts his things on the couch. Then he went up to his room and changed his clothes.

He picked out  a plain blue shirt and blue jeans. He went in front of the mirror and changed clothes. 

Then as he was done wearing his clothes, he checked if there were flaws. He looked from top to bottom then smiled. He felt confident about his look.

"Thomas Enders. You're gonna get Jillian Mackenzie to the dance..... Oh--(scratches hair hard) What am I talking about? She doesn't even go out with some guys who are more cuter and popular than me. I don't stand a chance....", said the boy.

Yes, his name is Thomas Enders. He was 17 and still has never been in any mutual relationship. He lives with his parents. His father is a corporate business man while his mother works at a day care center.

He maybe the only child but his parents don't mind much about him. Even at his grade school graduation, they were late. The only part they've seen was that he already had medals around his neck.

But he never felt regretted. He knew that his parents all wanted is to secure his future. Tom is so optimistic. He never loses hope.

Tom then remembers something and grabs his jacket. He checked the pockets and found the necklace. 

He opened the locket and saw the picture again. He felt happy in seeing the girl in the picture once more. He thought that the girl was kind of sophisticated.

He looked closely and said," I wish I could see you again one more time.... I like you already... Even I didn't got your name.... Uh!!! I didn't have her name!!!!! (Grunts).

He closes the locket and leaves the necklace on his bed. He went down stairs and went to the kitchen.

He opens the fridge and gets the chicken pie. He went to the toaster and heated the pie for 3 minutes. Then the timer sounded and he picked it out and ate.

While at the table, he kept on thinking about the girl. He never saw that girl in town, like ever. 

"Okay, she never looked familiar. But she is polite. Maybe she's new in town.. I wish I could be close to her....", said Tom even his mouth was full. He kept on murmuring till he finished eating and went to bed.

 Back to Lumia's Lime light

Well back to Lumia, she went home after she had fun with Jade and the others. She was still happy and danced around her room.

As she spun in circles for several more times, she then lands on her bed having a big smile on her face. 

She thought of the boy's face again and again then she covered her face with a pillow. She seemed to have a tingling feeling of romance in her heart.

"Oh, goodness. I've never met a boy so kind to me like that. I can't get him off my mind.... Eeeeeehhhh!!! (Giggles) I want to know him. Everything about him... I want to know!!!", she said.

Then she jumps on her bed like a kid. She felt like she was on top of the world that moment. 

For the first time, she felt love. Another type of love, it was an affection for a man. She kept on giggling.

She held her chest to catch her breath after laughing hard. Suddenly she slides her hand around her neck and went scared. Her necklace was lost.
