Part 7: Impossible

Author’s POV

After having her memories recalled, she renamed herself, Sera. But she feels drowsiness and went back to her bed.

Lumia then had her mood back and slept for the night. She was so dear and young. The only thing that makes her keep on believing is her only family, Night Light and MiM.

They watched over her till she grew up and had her own decisions. She learned a lot of things even she lived underground.

 Her home was not that wide but not that small. It had four corners which looked like a very big room.

There was a sala set , bookshelf, closets, dresser and her bed as well. Her bed was long enough to make it longer than her height. It was green in color with a cover on top of it.

The cover was designed with laces of emerald silk and gold linings on the wood. There were stars carved into the wood of the whole bed.

This was a gift also given by MiM parents before they had vanished. Night Light brought it there when it was getting dark and Lumia had nowhere to sleep on.

There was no door found on the four corners of her home. The hole that was above at the ceiling served as the door. HehHh

There was a staircase attached adjacently to the hole enabling it to be reached that easy.

The hole was covered with an iron cover that had a lock. Up above the ground, it may look like a hump of dirt which makes it to be ignored.

Its size can make a 60 inched barrel fit in. There was a seek-hole on that iron door. That is where Lumia looks through to see what is happening outside her dear home.

She also has books given by Night that are kept in her bookshelf. She reads them all day back when she was just a kid. That was the composition of her home.

Meanwhile, Lumia had a dream. She was smiling out in physical appearance.

In her dream, there she saw a boy. It was the boy who was holding her necklace. She didn’t know the boy’s name. But she kept on calling him and she approached him as well.

She pulls his arm and speaks, “Excuse me, Sir. But I’m afraid that is my necklace…. It’s very special to me… It’s the only thing that reminds me of my father…”.

The boy smiles and opens his palm showing the necklace. “Oh this is yours? I’m sorry. Here you go. I thought that no one will care if I didn’t keep it.”, the boy says as he smiles.

Lumia was so happy. She was jumping in joy right when she had the necklace in her hand. Due to her extreme happiness, she suddenly kissed the boy.

It lasted for longer than a second. Then she felt embarrassed and pushes herself away from the boy. “I’m sorry!!!!! I didn’t mean to—Uh!! I’m so so so so sorry!!!”, she says as she turned her back.

The boy was in shock as he held his lips. He couldn’t believe a girl would kiss her. He felt embarrassed but he smiled and pulled Lumia’s arm to make her face him.

“Don’t be sorry… I should be more sorry… I understand why you kissed me…. “, says the boy as he hugs her tight.

Lumia felt a tingling feeling in her chest. She can’t explain but she fell in love. It was the first time she knew that she had affections for another person. She was about to hug back to the boy but a voice made her scared.

“Se---Seraphina… Remember you’re immortal and he is not…. You will never be together…”, said the voice that had an old crackling sound just like a dark spirit was talking to her.

It seemed to be heard by Lumia only. She then pushes the boy away and walks away from him.

“I’m sorry. I knew we should have not met. I’m sorry. I must go now…..”, she says as walks faster then she runs.

The boy tried to follow her but he sort of let Lumia go. “I will not forget you… I LOVE YOU!!!! Whoever you are, I love you…..”, the boys shouted as his voice was slowly trailing away.

Lumia was crying as she was running. She felt pain in her heart. Now she knows what it is to feel love.

 Then she wakes up from her dream. She was relieved of knowing that she is awake but she felt tears run down her eyes. She now cries.

“So this is love…. I shouldn’t show or feel this… The necklace is what I need now. I should be more focused on getting it back….This love hurts……”, says Lumia as she was wiping the tears off her face.

Even with her mind on her goal, she thought of how she could move on with this love she feels. There must be way she could lose this pain of love in her heart.

She then remembers Laurice and Jack. She was so adored by their relationship. They seemed to be extremely happy with their lives. But she wanted to know if Laurice ever felt the same as she is now.

Also, she must ask of how she must move on over that boy. She thinks it may not be easy but when there’s a will, there’s a way.
