"Oh... I have a missed call from Cheol." Seungkwan said.

"I noticed while we were there that there is no service in the house." Vernon said, walking into the building.

Why would the house of a big CEO not have service? Seungkwan thought to himself.

"The autopsy is finished and the results are...interesting to say the least." Joshua said ushering the two boys into the meeting room.

Hoshi handed Seungkwan the file so he could read it.

Cause of death: blunt force trauma to the head

Time of death: July 24, 2021 6:00pm

"His stomach was completely empty. Toxicology screening came back clean." Jun said.

"The stabbing was done post-mortem." Hoshi added.

"You mean to tell me someone hit him over the head to death and then stabbed him 42 times?" Vernon said, looking uneasy.

"That's not even the weirdest part.." Hoshi said, taking a deep breath.

Everyone turned to him.

"We found traces of paper stuffed in his airway." He explained.

"There were also traces of ink so we came to the conclusion that whoever killed him stuffed a note down his throat but his body broke the substances down." Jun added.

"So we are clearly dealing with a psychopath." Jeonghan said as he walked into the room.

"Seungkwan was right about Mr. Park dying hours before being found." Dino said, reading the file that was handed to him.

"How did neither family member notice he wasn't there?" Seungkwan said, thinking out loud.

"Mrs. Park said her husband didn't usually get home until 5pm. He was killed within an hour of getting home and his wife and daughter didn't notice." Vernon said.

"Can you run a background check on everyone Mr. Park worked with?" Jeonghan asked, turning to the tech analyst Joshua.

"It is a big company but I think I can get that done pretty fast!" Joshua replied.

"There isn't anything you can't do..." Jeonghan said softly, smiling slightly.

Hoshi and Woozi gave knowing looks to each other.

"Have you guys figured out what was used to hit Mr. Park over the head?" Wonwoo asked.

"We just know it had to be a large angled object. My best guess is a statue of some sort." Jun said, flipping through his own autopsy report.

His eyebrows scrunched together like he was confused.

"Hey Hoshi...." Jun started.

Hoshi looked over to Jun.

"Now that I look back on these pictures I noticed something." Jun said, laying the picture down.

Everyone gathered around the picture.

"These marks here are angled into the right so they were done by a left handed person..." He said pointing to the stab wounds closest to the heart.

"But these over here are angled into the left.." He said pointing at the wounds towards the abdomen.

"We have two killers..." Jeonghan said in shock.

"This is the work of a team?"Cheol asked.

"We have to look at this completely differently from how we were looking at it." Dino said, looking at Cheol.

"We have never worked on a case this violent that ended up being two people..." Seungkwan said.

"We still need to look at it just like we would a normal team killing." Cheol said, looking around.

"Well textbook team would mean we have a dominant and submissive team member." Vernon said.

"What do you mean by dominant and submissive?" Joshua said, walking in.

Since Joshua works with the tech stuff he doesn't know all of the on field terms.

"Think about it this way.." Jeonghan started.

"Woozi is a dominant character and Hoshi is a submissive character. Hoshi will do anything Woozi tells him to do because that's his submissive character." Jeonghan said quite proud of himself.

Everyone in the room laughed except Hoshi.

"That makes more sense now." Joshua said.

"What did you find out for me sweetie?" Jeonghan asked, looking at Joshua.

"Sweetie?" Seungkwan whispered, looking at Vernon.

Vernon just shrugged.

No one quite knew what was going on between Joshua and Jeonghan because technically they aren't dating but everyone knew they belonged to each other.

"The background checks were mostly clean but I did find some sketchy characters." Joshua said, pulling some papers out of his folder.

"This, my friends is Song Ji. He is 25 and works in Mr. Parks company. He was written up by Mr. Park himself 2 weeks ago for being inappropriate to a female coworker. You may be thinking "Joshua that doesn't sound like a good motive to kill someone" well when he wrote up Mr. Song here his wife found out. She threatened divorce if any charges were pressed against him." Joshua said handing Mr. Song's file out to the team.

"I also dug up some more dirt. Mr. Song wasn't exactly straight. He needs his wife for her money so she doesn't know about him being gay. The woman he was being inappropriate with threatened to tell his wife. I dug into that some more and found out that Mr. Song was dating none other than Lee Jiwoo. Lee Jiwoo is our other sketchy character. He has been reported for creeping around the CEO's office a number of 11 times." Joshua said.

"Once again you delivered beyond expectation." Jeonghan said, smiling up at the boy.

"Dino come with me to interview Lee Jiwoo." Cheol said, gathering his things.

"Okay!" Dino said happily.

Dino is the baby of the team but no one has a soft spot for him quite like Cheol does.

"Two others need to go interview Song Ji." Cheol said walking out the door.

"Not it!" Jeonghan shouted.

"Let's go Mingyu!" Wonwoo said, grabbing Mingyu's arm.

"Why us?" Mingyu asked.

"Because there is so much drama surrounding this guy and I just have to ask him about it!" Wonwoo said, dragging Mingyu out the door.

Now that both groups were out to interview the suspects Joshua started working on digging into Mr. Park's life.
