Highschool friendship

I laughed wholeheartedly at the fail that Haechan just managed to throw. Not even one pin knocked down. And that after he had passionately predicted a strike while sliding in his knees. The embarrassment was visible in his skin colour and everybody laughed at the funny incident. I flicked my bangs out of my face, because they were tickling me again and grabbed my drink. apple juice of course. my gaze wandered over my members and then got stuck on Dasom, who was sitting on one of the benches. Her smile was captivating and without noticing i started to smile as well. We were in the same class for four years and the friendship that we built over that time span luckily lasted until today. She is the only real friend i had except my members and i really treasure her. Today we wanted to go bowling as a group and i had brought up the thought of inviting her. I have to say i regret it, because of course she doesn't spend her time with me only when there's other people as well. But it is not on me to tell her what to do so i was kinda stuck with my emotions. i think people call it hopelessly in love but i wouldn't think of her as a crush. i don't even have enough time to be there for her anyways. 

"Jisung!" someone brought me back to reality "Your turn" Jeno hyung said with his usual eye smile indicating that he had scored great. A glance to the Board at the ceiling told me that my guess was right. Jeno was first place while i shared the fifth place with Jaemin hyung and.. Dasom. I halted. What if i would score extra bad to give her a chance to climb the ranking. She could manage to beat Jaemin which would make her second. Without further ado i grabbed a bowling ball and got in position. "Fighting Jisungie" i heard supporting comments and i could make out her sweet voice between the familiar voices of the boys. The ball flew but as i expected it didn't hit many pins. Two of them fell but that wasn't enough for me to climb the latter especially because Jaemin Hyung and Dasom were to throw one last ball. I turned around and faced the others who spoke encouraging words. But the incident mad me happy because i had planned it out in my mind. 

Smiling to myself i waited for the two to score their points and indeed, just as i planned, Dasom scored higher than Jaemin and went out with the second place. "Respect Dasom!" Mark cheered and went to congratulate her and Jeno who won. We agreed earlier, that the looser would have to pay the winner an ice cream. So Haechan went to buy Jeno ice cream right after the result was obvious. Dasom was smiling next to Jeno but i could see in her eyes that she was jealous of the ice cream. 

"Dasom do you want Ice cream as well?" I asked her after picking up courage. The moment she smiled at me, i was about to regret asking her but i couldn't say no anymore so i decided to do it anyways. Taking her to the checkout i let her choose whatever she wanted. On the way there we met Haechan who just came back with the freshly bought ice cream. He send me a confused glance and pointed down at his own one "I could've brought u guys some as well" but i denied. "Its okay Hyung, it took her a while to decide" i laughed and smiled at her, gesturing to continue walking. "Hey Jisung, its late already. Do you mind me going home now?" she said after i gave her the ice cream she had picked. "Oh, are you tired?" i asked because i noticed her being more quiet the last half hour. "Yea kinda but i don't wanna walk alone. Do you mind accompanying me on the way back?" she asked innocently. As soon as she spoke it out loud i mentally facepalmed myself because i didn't have the guts to offer it to her. "Shall we say goodbye to the others then?" i asked carefully reading her reaction. 

After walking back to the bowling place Dasom told the others that she would go home now. Knowing gazes flew over to where i was standing, making me greatly flustered. I never told them about her before and suddenly i brought her bowling, and now she was telling everyone that i would bring her home. Clearly they would notice that something was going on and i knew that i would get teased the next few weeks, especially by haechan hyung.
