"wait that's really her" a girls voice asks
"yes, now get out" vinnie whispers
"she's so tiny"
"she's also sleeping, leave"
"i'm awake now" i say and pull the covers onto me more.
two girls come around to the other side of the bed that i was facing
"i'm charli, this is addison and daisy"
"i'm bri"
"how long are you here for?" daisy asks
"not sure yet"
"let us know if you are ever bored and wanna do something, i promise we're more fun than vinnie"
i laugh as the three of them leave the room.

"i'm sorry" he sighs
"it's alright"
i move my head off of his chest and grab my phone from the night stand.
"two forty three? you could have woken me up like three hours ago"
"i was on my phone it didn't even feel like that long"
"well now we have the rest of the day, what's the plan"
"pool? or we can go to the beach, i have a shoot at four that i want you to be in"
"no that's your thing"
"and you don't model?"
"that's different, this is yours i'll take charli up on the offer of hanging out with them"
"you sure"
"yeah"

i look through my bag and pull out a lavender white bikini with a floral design and change into that.
i over and walk downstairs, i couldn't find vinnie which made things even more awkward.
"hey vins in the backyard with everyone by the pool if you're looking for him" dixie says
"oh thank you" i smile
"wait before you go, i'm grabbing drinks and could use help"
"oh ya of course"
she directs me to where solo cups are and i quickly grab them for her.
"is that a disposable camera?" i ask pointing to the counter
"yeah i have to develop the pictures in a few minutes, you want one"
"yeah sure"
she clicks the camera and the two of us laugh, we fill many cups with different drinks ranging from root beer to vodka soda.

"okay, i think we're all set" she says
we both grab as many drinks as we can and bring them outside.
"already putting her to work" vinnie asks from a chair a few feet away.
"well since none of you would come in and help me"
"woah woah woah we offered you said you got it"
"i'm gonna have to agree, we offered"
two boys who looked really similar said.

vinnie got up and stood behind me.
"that's ryland and nick, they live here" he whispers
"are they drunk" i whisper back
"very much so"
"good to know"
"vin who's the chick" ryland asks
"the girl he hasn't stopped talking about for the past month and a half" addison says
i feel my cheeks heat up and vinnie laughs behind me, i walk over to the two boys introducing myself.
"so you're brielle then?" nick says
"yeah, you can call me bri"
"well bri, welcome to the hype house. where all your dreams come true" ryland slings an arm over my shoulder and walks with me around the back yard.

"so tell me about you and vin" he prompts
"hmm, i drunk texted him and he ended up answering then we texted a lot and facetimed every day and now i'm here"
"so you guys are like together"
"no, we're just friends"
"alright"

my phone buzzes and i check the text.

i look at the photo and slip my phone back in my pocket, continuing the conversation with ryland until nick comes over.
"a few more people are here if you guys wanna say hi"
"yeah sure"
the three of us walk back over to the new crowd of people.
"hey i'm sab" a dark haired girl says and pulls me into a hug
"this is mads anna and dev" she introduced and  the three other girls hug me.

"brielle?" the voice was familiar, i quickly turn to see who it was.
"eva?"
"what are you doing here" she asks and comes closer
"i uh am doing stuff with hype house"
"oh"
"you guys know each other" dev asks
"no we just met on social media in the last few weeks" okay so that's not true, i just left out the part about how we knew each other and why we wish we didn't anymore.
"yup" eva agrees
"well it was good meeting you guys i'm gonna go look for dixie"
"oh i saw her by the bar with noah" mads says
"thanks"

i leave that group and start walking towards the bar before i'm stopped
"you alright" vinnie asks
"what? yeah why"
"i don't know you were walking quickly away from mads eva dev and sab"
"yeah no i was just gonna find dixie"
"can i drag you over to meet a few more people first"
"sure, im just gonna grab a t shirt"
"i have mine on the chair over there, i'll grab it"
he walks off leaving me for a few seconds before returning and handing me the shirt and i put it on.
he leads me over to a group of boys.

"alright, this is josh bryce jaden and blake" he introduces us
"i'm bri" i smile at the four boys
"so are you visiting or staying" blake asks over the music
"just visiting"
"where are you from" he asks
"canada"
"oh shit really" josh asks
"yeah, Vancouver"
"i'm from toronto, ontario"
"oh no way, i lived in toronto until i was ten then moved to vancouver"
"that's cool, the only other canadian i hang out with is eva, you know her?"
"yeah i've heard of her"

vinnie had left me to talk with the guys so i was on the journey of finding him.
"hey i have my shoot that i still want you to be part of" he says

"i'll have the stylist come up to my room and get you in something"
