Chapter 6

~•~MAJOR TIME SKIP~•~

Williams POV

It's been about 3 years now since that incident. The moment when two lonely reapers found a true meaning in their lives. Me and Grell have been dating ever since that day and I never noticed how much I needed him in my life until then. Not once have I forgotten that day... Now it was Valentine's Day, and I had a special surprise for him...

"Grell, are you almost ready?! You've been getting ready for an hour now!" I call up to the stairs to my Lover. "Fine, Will, fine I'm coming!" He yelled back, as I heard footsteps coming down the steps. I look up from my watch to the stairs. Grell is standing there at the bottom step, wearing a long elegant red dress, his long hair braided, A blood red rose in his hair. I stood there with my mouth open, staring at Grell. He smiled. "Do you like it? I picked this dress out specially for Valentine's Day~" I blushed a little bit, "I think you look gorgeous, honey. That dress is very beautiful." He walked over to me, kissed my cheek and grabbed my hand. "Oh thank you William~ you look handsome tonight as well!" Grell said, fixing my black bow tie. "Thank you, darling, aren't bow ties cool?" we walked out the front door and started towards the restaurant. It was only a block away, so we just decided to walk.

After getting there, we sat down and ordered. We talked and talked. we talked about work, we made little flirtatious jokes here and there, we even just talked about everyday things such as how dinner was last night or what we plan on doing on the weekend. It was honestly probably the best date I've had. But it would have been better if I wasn't filled with uncertainty and anxiousness. I had my hand in my coat pocket and felt the little velvet box.

After we were done with dinner, the waitress came over to us, her blonde hair was tied back in a pony tail. I was about to pay the bill when she grabbed it. "No no Sir, it's on the house" she smiled at me and grell. "Thank you miss..." I looked at her name tag, "thank you miss Tyler" I said. me and Grell smiling. "Please just all me Rose" she said stuffing the bill back into her apron. "Well thank you Rose, I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day with someone special~" Grell saidto Her, smiling. She smiled sadly in reply. "Yes.. Thank you.. Happy Valentine's Day you two!" We waved to her as we walked back out into the chilly February night. My chances to ask Grell was running low, I wanted to ask somewhere that there weren't a lot of people. "Hey Grell, Wanna go to the park before we head home?" I asked. He looked over and nodded with a smile on his face, but it quickly turned into a smirk as if he suddenly thought of something. "Only if you can catch me~" he said, letting go of my hand and running. He threw off the heels he was wearing and kept running, holding his dress up as he went. "Oh no you don't!" I yelled as I chased after him, people yelling out their windows for us to be quiet, but we didn't care, we laughed as loud as we wanted to. I mean what are they gonna do, kill us? lol no. Anyways. As we approached the park, the ground got a little bumpier. Grell ran into the grass field of the park, laughing loudly yelling "You can't catch me!" But before he could say another word, he tripped on his dress and fell into the grass. He fell with a scream and an "oof!"

I ran over faster "Oh my goodness, Grell are you okay?!" I say, reaching my hand down to help him up. When he grabs my hand, I expected that he wanted up, but he pulled me down beside him in the grass. I started laughing as he said "HAHA YOU FELL FOR IT, OLDEST TRICK IN THE BOOK!". We laughed for a few minutes before we were able to regain our breath and notice the starry sky above us. We lay there in the grass, our fingers intertwined. I looked over to him, his eyes closed and a smile on his lips. I remembered the little believer box. "Hey Grell." I said. He shifted his head over to look at me, and hummed "hm?". I looked him straight in the eye, the blood rushing to my cheeks and to his. "What would you say if I asked you to be my husband?" I said, as even as I could, because my voice was shaking. His eyes widened and his mouth turned into i tiny sliver. "I-I would say yes..." He said, shakily as well. I could feel tears well up as I let go of his hand, reached into my pocket, pulled out the ring box, and placed it in his hand gently.

His eyes watered as he looked from the ring box to me with shock. He threw his arms around me and cried. "I love you so much, Willy-Bear!" (Don't laugh, it's the nickname he gave me -.-)
I cried a little bit too ask we latched onto Eachother in the middle of a field, at 10 at night with the moon shining directly on us. ((so damn romantic ;^;))
I've made up my mind.

This is definitely the best date I've ever been on.
