Y/n POV!! ↵

Miles had decided that in order to regain the progress we had made we should spend a few days as friends while we both got ready for the ball. People ran in and out of the house, dropping things off and cleaning the house. Miles and I spent time in the library or the stables. I feel that he still watches me while I sleep but, there isn't much I can do about it. Tonight is the ball so Miles and I have agreed to start dating today. An arranged day to ask me out. Strange... Cute, but strange. I finished applying a light blush to my cheeks and smiled awkwardly at the mirror. I was dressed nicely, a dress. I hadn't worn any dresses in a long time. There was a knock at my door, momentarily opened by Flora. "Miles said to come to his room." She looked at me. "Do I look okay?" I gave her a little turn. Flora smiled an nodded. "Okay, thanks angle." I gave her head a light pat as I left. I stood by Miles's door, nervous. I knocked and Miles's door swung open. Miles peeked out. "Okay, lets go." He grabbed my hand and we ran down the stairs together. He brought me to the garden and told me to close my eyes. I did and waited. "Okay, open." I opened them and looked down. "Oh my- Miles!" I started to cry, cupping my face in my hands. Miles was down on one knee with a velvet box in his hands. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean- I thought- I- I'm sorry!" I shook my head. "Miles, these are good tears. I'm so happy..." I whispered looking back at him. He seemed confused but didn't ask anything else. "So, I got this because Flora said 'promise ring' and I promise that I will keep you safe, respect you, care for you... Fuck this, with this ring," he slipped the promise ring onto my finger. "I promise I'd die for you." Miles kissed my hand. "I promise the same to you Miles." I wiped the last of my tears away. I pulled him in for a light peck before he pulled away. "I forgot to mention... At the ball you'll be meeting my brothers. Micheal, Tyler, and Boris. I have another but he's busy with clown shit." He muttered. I gave him a shocked look. "Brothers?" I asked. "Quintuplets." He muttered. "Why don't you live together?" I asked, caressing his hand with my thumb. "You'll see... We're very different." I was anxious, what if they didn't like me? The ball was tonight... "Well, we better go get ready. You've had your dress made, correct?" I nodded and Miles smiled, a real smile. "Can't wait."

I finished applying some dark red lipstick to my lips. I stood up and looked at myself. "I look like a fucking prostitute." I muttered, pulling at my earrings lightly. There was a knock at my door. I took a deep breath and opened the door. Miles was wearing a traditional black suit, very cute. "You look really good." Miles shifted uncomfortably. His eyes trailed down from the black velvet choker I was wearing, to the short black ball gown, to the stockings, down to my heels. Then, his eyes fell onto his own pants. I hit his arm lightly, "Miles! We haven't even gotten down there yet!" He laughed nervously and shrugged. "Hey, I got you something to match the ring." Miles pulled out another small box. "Miles, you shouldn't have! I promise I'll get you something in return." I opened the box, a golden moon sat inside of a small crystal. "Shit." I whispered staring at it. "Miles, it's so beautiful, I promise I'll get you something good." I handed him the necklace and turned around, pulling my hair up. Miles secured the necklace around my neck. He placed soft kisses on the back of my neck, making me grip his hands that were on my waist. "Maybe you don't need to buy anything... I have condoms, that'll be enough." I gasped and turned, lightly hitting him again. He smirked and I rolled my eyes. "We'll see, Fairchild." I grabbed hand and led him to the stairs. I slipped my arm into the crook of Miles's elbow as he lead me downstairs. There where people lingering in the parlor who stared as Miles lead me to the ballroom. "Wow." I looked around. "You like it?" He looked down at me. "Love it." I looked up at him. "Alright, show me your brothers, beautiful." I looked around. Miles heaved a sigh and pulled me to the far back corner. There stood three boys who looked like replicas of Miles. "Holy fuck." I whispered as we got closer. One was wearing a sweater under a sports jacket and slacks, the other two were wearing the exact thing Miles was. If they stood together I don't know if I could tell them apart. I straightened myself up as the others looked up. The boy in the sweater's face lit up like a Christmas light (haha) one of the other two covered his eyes and the last licked his lips. "Brothers, this is Y/n." Miles stated. "Y/n, Micheal, Tyler, and Boris." Boris had a glass of champagne that was quickly taken from him. He rolled his eyes and looked back at me. "It's Mike, Kilometer." The sweater boy said. He had a gross almost bowl cut. Miles shot him a painful glare. "Tyler." The second boy, the one covering his eyes, stuck his hand out. I took it and his eyes trailed down to my cleavage. Miles snapped his fingers and I looked at the last. "Boris, you need me to translate for ya bud?" Mike looked down at the last boy. "Shut up ugly." He replied. "Hey!" Tyler cried. "What?" Boris had a thick Russian accent, hot. No, not hot because Miles and I are dating. "We're identical twins you idiot." Mike laughed and I looked at Miles, he seemed unamused. "So babe-" "Y/n." Miles corrected Boris. "Babe-" Miles grabbed Boris's throat. I pressed my thighs together. The sight of Miles choking himself was almost enough to make me get on the floor and beg for him. Instead, I put a hand on Miles's shoulder. "Meet me in the spot." We referred to the library as 'the spot'. Miles's grip loosened as I turned and walked away, making sure to hit his ass as I left. Behind me, I heard a whistle and then a thud. I walked to Flora's room first. I hadn't seen her all night. I knocked and she opened the door, there were a few other (mortified) girls with her. "Just checking on you." I kissed the crown of her head like Miles did to me. She giggled and shut her door. Moments later, a hand gripped my wrist, pulling me down the hall. I bit my lip and rubbed his thighs as he walked. He slapped my hand away and threw me into the library. Miles slammed me against the door. The sound of our loud kissing echoed through the library. Miles's hands tugged at the area of fabric showing off my cleavage. I wrapped one leg around his waist and pulled at his curls. Miles pulled my skirt up further and further, exposing my thighs. Suddenly, people were walking towards the library. Miles took my hand and drug me to a small nook in the back. The door opened and we listened as the group whispered. Then, the door closed and the library was silent. I crawled onto his lap and kissed him again. Miles hand crept up my skirt to my underwear. He aggressively tugged it down to my knees. There was a cough and we pulled apart. My chest was almost exposed from Miles pulling at the fabric so much, my lipstick was smeared, and my expensive lace panties sat around my ankles now. Boris grinned happily and bit his lip, sticking his hand down his trousers. Mike stood there with his mouth open and Tyler had passed out. Miles yanked my dress back up then my underwear. I sat blushing as Boris still had his hands down his pants. Miles got up and stood in front of Boris. "Hands out or loose it Commie." Boris stood on his tippy toes to see me and miles pulled out a piece of glass, cutting his brothers wrist. Boris didn't react as I expected. He just took his hand out and pushed Miles. I rolled my eyes at their constant bickering, I had only known them for less than an hour. "Okay, lets not do this. Miles, we have to get back to the ball so, let's go clean up." I glanced at the boys still unconscious body. I leaned over him, shaking his shoulders. He opened his eyes and I smiled awkwardly. He let his head fall back onto the floor again so I just left. I had done enough. I didn't care about how I looked, I was tired of all the noise. I couldn't do this right now but I wasn't in control at this point. I barged into Miles's room and searched through his drawers. I found my belongings, photos of me and some with both of us, and finally, a gun. Why Miles had a gun should've worried me but, it didn't. I checked to make sure it was loaded, it was. I held the gun behind my back and walked around seductively for no reason. Then, I shot at a large painting of a man I never knew. People ducked and hid but then, they all ran. I stood at the balcony, feeling powerful with the gun in my hand. Invincible. I place the gun under my chin, fingers grazing the trigger. Suddenly, the gun was knocked out of my hand. I leaned over the banister instead but I was pulled back. "Are you Okay?" Tyler asked, concerned. I just smiled and went limp in Miles's arms. Miles literally slung me over his shoulder. I leaned forward and started to slip out of his arms. Miles grabbed my ankles but I already had the gun in my hands. "Woah!" Mike pushed Boris towards me. I twirled the gun around and winked at them all. Miles slammed his door behind him, making sure this time it was locked.
