☆ミ KENMA WAS DRESSED UP. Well dressed up for his standards. His usual sweatpant and hoodie combo replaced with jeans and a t-shirt. You remembered the vague mention of him having played volleyball but you didn't realize he had muscles. You shrugged off any thoughts and greeted him.
"Hey Kenma!" You smiled at him and he returned it.
"Hey Y/n. So where are we going?" You let out a small giggle.
"Escape room." Kenma's brows furrowed.
"Escape what?" You pouted a bit.
"..An escape room."
"I've never been to one.." You grabbed his arm and shook him a bit.
"Well good thing your going with an expert!" You giggled and made you and him made your way out of the dorm buildings. It was sort of a long walk but it wasnt too bad. Besides you guys could get food on the way.
"So where do you want to eat?" Kenma looked at you, thinking before finally answering.
"Panda express."
"That sounds really good actually"
"I'm paying though, I dont think anyone could financially recover from the snacks we got after that party." You hummed agreeingly.
"Thats fine! I'll pay for the escape room tickets I get a membership discount." Kenma raised a brow.
"Membership discount?"
"It's more a scam. I pay 20 bucks for the year and I get a 20% discount." Kenma nodded.
You and Kenma ended up getting to panda express and ate some food. It was uneventful really, the walk from panda express to the escape room was more fun. You guys stopped to pet a stray cat, you having to convince Kenma to put it back because as much as you'd like to take it, it definitely did not like you guys. Kenma still has a scratch on his hand. Eventually you made it to the escape room.
"We're here!" Kenma looked up at the sign, this place looked like the definition of "a hole in the wall", at least the outside did.
"A horror escape expierience like no other.. Not for the feint of heart.. Are you sure this isnt too scary?" Kenma had a sarcastic undertone causing you to roll your eyes.
"It's just a bunch of fake gore.. At least every other time I've been here.."
"How many times have you been here?"
"Once a year since I was 13, they only change it once a year so I try to come by to see what they plan." Kenma raised a brow at you.
"And you brought me this time?" You nodded.
"Well duh, who else would I bring, Hanaki is sick and usually he goes with me. And you asking me to hangout was a perfect opportunity!" You smiled at him and payed for 2 tickets.
