"You don't have to apologize Shefali, you are not at fault" Ishqi tries not to make her guilty.
"I need to talk to you" saying this Ahaan pulls Ishqi from there.
"So rude he is" Shefali comments again
"hey, don't say anything about my bhai " Karthik says sternly "its ok you can say, after all he is going to be your Jethji " Karthik winks at her
"What the fudge" she says and Karthik's eyes widen "You are already same as your Jeth I see" he smiles broadly.
But she looks at him angrily "I know, I know I am a little fast, but I feel you are the one for me" Karthik says blushing
"Are you nuts, who proposes the girl on the first meet, and that too directly for marriage" she sings with her forefinger rolling near forehead" You don't know anything about me, expect that I am Mr. Singh's daughter" she says but thinks that even after knowing what her father has done to Ishqi, this guy still wants her. It warms her heart a little.
"You came to apologize to Ishqi, that explains what kind of a girl you are" Karthik says seriously for the first time and Shefali just keeps seeing him

"That was rude, I have guests" Ishqi says removing his hand from her arm.
"I don't trust that girl; she must be plotting something" Ahaan says trying to figure out what Shefali must be planning.
"Why will she do that, she is a good friend of mine. Not someone like Riya" Ishqi taunts him" Leave her, tell me what happened to Riya"
Ahaan gets tensed and does not meet her eye, Ishqi gets to know he is hiding something. "What happened to Riya, I hope you have her arrested" she prompts
Ahaan is worried that once she listens to this, she will go away from him "I had her arrested, but had to free her due to something"
"Why did you release her" he can feel her controlling her anger
"I had to do it, but can't tell you the reason" he says tensed
"You better leave now Ahaan" she says sadly" Wait, do you still have feelings for her" she asks while he was about to leave
"I have feelings only for one person and that is you Ishqi" Ahaan comes near her "please believe me there was a valid reason"
Ishqi moves away from him "tell me that valid reason then"
He just leaves from there.
"Karthik, let's go" Ahaan says and moves outside. Karthik looks at Shefali and Ahaan, and runs after him
"What happened Bhai, mujhe apni setting bhi nahi karne dete" Karthik grumbled. But seen Ahaan silent he gets tensed too
"What happened" he asks again slowly
"I couldn't tell her why I freed Riya" Ahaan says sadly
"But why, her love will increase for you knowing what you saved in return for freeing Riya" Karthik tried to convince him to tell Ishqi
"She is a very independent girl Karthik, she handles all her problems alone. If she comes to know I did this for her she might not like it" Ahaan says
"Or she might like it Bhai, remember she has always been grateful when you helped her in the past. Also, she will be glad that you considered her work so important"
Ahaan realizes it to be true. Ishqi business means a lot to her, and he saved it.
He goes back to Ishqi and see that eyes are wet. And Shefali had already left from there. His heart pains seeing her like that. He just hugs her, and she unable to bear the pain in her heart hugs him back. For a moment they just forget all the reasons and are just happy to be with each other
"I did it because Riya's father threatened me with your business. He has got major shares of your company and he would have acquired it. I couldn't let you heard work go waste just because of someone like Riya" he finishes and hears her cry more" hey hey.. stop crying, everything is fine" he tries to move away from her, but she hugs him more tightly, he smiles and just returns the hug
"Thank you Ahaan, for considering and giving my work so much importance" She says slowly, her heart bubbling with joy that Ahaan considered it important.
"You are very important to me, so everything related to you is also very important. And don't worry I will still try to find a way to put Riya behind bars" He says wiping her tears and slowly kisses her cheek, testing the waters. He kisses her other cheek too, then her forehead, he was nearing her lips...
"Ahem Ahem" Karthik coughs feeling awkward
Ishqi goes red and hides behind Ahaan
"Ab chupne se kya fayda, jab kiss kar rahe thi tab toh nahi chup rahi thi" he teases
"Tu chup kar Kathik' Ahaan scolds him still holding Isqhi's hand.
"Bhai am sorry to say this now, but dadi is not keeping much well, we will have to return back to Mumbai. I wanted to tell you yesterday only, but so many things happened I couldn't tell you" Karthik says feeling sorry
Ahaan immediately let's go of Ishqi hand "What happened to Dadi, why didn't you tell me earlier"
"She is ok, just a little of high bp, but she misses you a lot and its worsening her condition" Karthik explains.
Ahaan turns to Ishqi" I will have to go to dadi, please tell me your decision before I leave tomorrow. I don't want to pressurize you as there are still 4 more days left for the month to end. But the situation is like that, I hope you understand" he says, and they leave from there. Ishqi keeps watching them her heart thudding, what if he leaves and she never sees him ever again.
"Listen to your heart Ishqi, it never lies" Karthik gives her his advice as always and smiles "haan and listen to my heart also, send me Shefali's number" he salutes her and leaves.
