Luan has always been one to look on the bright side, but with her siblings turned into half human-half element beings and Marshall somewhere in Kaiba Corp's network, she's having trouble staying positive. But an evil tyrant with a army of shadows...
We see Luan asleep in her room, still in her costume. Even though she's asleep, she's still crying but not because of her siblings, because she misses someone she loved. She opens her eyes to get a tissue.
Luan: (sadly) Mum....Dad.....(notices the camera)Oh hey. No I wasn't crying because I couldn't find a cure for my siblings, it's just..... I miss our parents. They're gone. I know what you're thinking, "Luan how did this happen?" well I'll tell you. It was an Lab accident. Not one of Lisa's experiments this time. And we weren't home either. We were at a Kaiba Corp Research Facility. It happened on Christmas day a few years ago......
Luan closes her eyes and remembers the day when she and the other Loud siblings lost their parents.
Luan: (voiceover) Lisa was working at Kaiba Corp for some time now. Our family decided to visit her and celebrate Christmas together. She was happy for us to come over. She had made a device that she said was going to knock our socks off. Also we were hoping to make it up to Lincoln after a certain con gone wrong incident. So all of us kids (except Lisa who was in lab attire) were in our supersuits. We were all having fun and mucking around.

Lisa: No! you won't steal my research evil villain!
Lynn Sr: You won't stop me foolish human! I AM MAXIMUS KONG! ARRRGH!
Luan: Hang on Lisa! The Joker will save you from this villian! (tickles her dad) I guess you were MONKEYING around! Hahahahaha! Get it Dad?
Lynn Sr: (still laughing) Ok Luan! You win! Now can you please stop? I wanna see what your little sister's been doing here that's so important.
Lisa: Very well Father. Follow me. Mother is already in my lab.
Luan happily smiles. As it's Christmas, families are supposed to be together. Then she sees Lincoln sitting at Lisa's desk his Ace Savvy mask off, still upset about the con.
Luan: Hey, you know we thought this would this make you smile. All of us wanted to do this, even Lola.
Lincoln: I'm not upset about the con. It's just Clyde hasn't talked to me ever since the incident. You didn't have to do this.
Lola: Lincoln we can't have you being sad all the time. That's why we did this. To show you we care. We're family big brother. And you can replace a lot of things but you can't replace family. Besides I got you something.
Lincoln opens the package that Lola gave him. Inside is the comic he made, but it's signed by Bill Buck. There's also a Card Wars Jaden Yuki starter deck and a Kaiba Corp made duel disk.
Lincoln:(smiles) But how'd you get my comic signed?
Luan: While you and Clyde were trying to get noticed, I noticed you dropped this. I was going to find you and give it back, but then I had an idea. Since I was near the Comic signing booth, I decided to get it signed for you.
