Luan has always been one to look on the bright side, but with her siblings turned into half human-half element beings and Marshall somewhere in Kaiba Corp's network, she's having trouble staying positive. But an evil tyrant with a army of shadows...
Later, Luan (stills in her costume) and Lily are in town. A new tournament is about to begin and as the only normal person in the Loud family, Luan is going to compete for the grand prize of three million dollars as she hopes it will help her get her family back to normal.
Luan: Even though Stark Industries is hosting the scramble, It's my first appearance as The Joker in months! At least you're here with me Lils. If there's one person you want by your side at a moment like this it's your little sister. (Lily's waddling besides Luan. She's keeping at a dim light so people can look at her without being blinded.)
Lily: Poo-poo! Giggles
Luan: Thanks Lilster. You've got my back the way Marshall does. I wonder where he is right now. You know I'm a little scared about doing-
Lily: you go this.
Luan: (smiles) Thanks Lily.
Lily: Poo-poo.
Luan: (Smells the air) Ugh! Someone needs a diaper change!
Lucy: Let me help.
Luan: Oh, thanks Lucy. AGGGGH! How did you get here?

Lucy: The usual way. I hid in your shadow.
Luan(frustrated):Dang it! You always get me that way.
Lucy: I know. (smiles)You're going dueling, aren't you?
Luan: I have a good reason to! Look at the prize!
Lucy: 3 Million dollars? Who cares about money at a time like this?
Luan: I was kinda hoping to put it towards finding a cure for you guys.
Lucy: Why? I'm not sick.
Luan: You know what I mean. I can't live like this anymore!
Lucy: Luan......
Luan starts crying, her stress gotten the better of her. Lily hugs her elder sister trying to comfort her, while Lucy nods, understanding what Luan means.
Lucy: I know what you mean. This isn't easy for all of us. I mean I heard Lori complaining that she couldn't pick up things without torching them.
Luan (still sobbing) :See? I just want our family, The Avengers, back to normal. I just feel so guilty standing there while you guys were hit with that weird energy from Aigami's blast.
Lucy: Luan, that's kind of you. But you know, it's not all bad.
Luan (still sobbing) :You see the way people look at us. We're freaks! And it's all my fault!
Lola runs up to Luan, deeply concerned. She gives Luan a tissue who wipes her eyes while Lily stills cuddles her, as this isn't the first time this has happened.
