Alpha:
Alphas are generally dominant and able to impregnate Omegas. They are the most superior ones. Alphas can have more than one partner and there are 20% alphas in the whole population.
Beta:
Betas are subordinate to Alphas and may or may not be able to impregnate Omegas. Betas are often presented as having "normal" human anatomy with none of the special attributes of Alphas or Omegas. They don't have any heat cycle and can stay in control during all sexual activities unlike alphas a betas takes up 70% of the population.
Omega:
Omegas are generally lowest on the hierarchy. Male Omegas are self-lubricating and have the ability to become pregnant. Paired Alphas may be jealous and possessive of their mate while Omega may become submissive. Omegas and Alphas may go into heat and need to have sex; this may be the only time Omegas are fertile. The heat lasts for 1 to 7 days for the omega. Omegas take up 10% of the population.
The heat cycle:
The sweat glands of the omega produce pheromones. The smell is particularly strong once a month, usually during the 7 days. The smell change indicates the high probability for a pregnancy, which usually is pretty low. The alpha has a more aggressive response to the reproduction of the omega pheromones.
The "Mark" system:
The "Mark" is put during sex in a heat cycle, when a alpha bits the omega in their neck. If he was "marked" the alpha can have as many omegas but the omega they marked can't have any more partners.
The Heat Inhibitors:
They work with alphas hormones that suppress the omegas' heat. There efficiency varies from person to person, they can cause allergies and sometimes side effects. There are two types of heat inhibitors:
Injection: When the heat symptoms appear, inject it on the arm or leg. It can have some serious side effects such as dizziness, vomiting. It's necessary to not attend school or work.
Pills: Once a day, it's necessary to take them daily. It is said that these don't have any side effects
alphas go through a rut, which is similar to a heat. during ruts alphas become very aggressive and sexually frustrated. often times alphas need to be restrained if an omega in heat is near. an alpha's rut it usually triggered by their omega doing into heat
