Jeongguk groans at his phone vibrating for what seems like the tenth time this morning. He already knows who it is, solely based on the persistence. If the sounds of vibration against the wood of his bedside table weren't so annoying, he'd gladly ignore them a eleventh time.

He still waits until the last ring before finally taking his phone, frowning harshly at the luminosity of the screen.

namjoon hyung:
hey jeongguk
i let it slide for yesterday but i hope you come to practice today
and to your classes additionally
i'll come look for you if you keep ignoring me
why do you always ignore my calls
are you alright ?
jeongguk:
k

Jeongguk sighs as he lets his phone fall, wrapping himself in his sheets once again. He'll get out of bed eventually, especially considering that Namjoon will probably bang at his door once the clock strikes the beginning of classes. But as much as he likes his hyung, he doesn't want anyone to come at his place for now. Jimin's peachy perfume is already faint enough.

Jeongguk squeezes his sheets once more before getting up.

He walks towards his bathroom, getting rid of his clothes on the way and letting them fall on the ground. As he turns the water on, he notices it's barely lukewarm and remembers there's trouble with hot water these days. But it's ok though, a cold shower will do.

He usually spends a lot of time showering, so at least there's a chance for him to arrive on time. He doesn't even spare a thought about drying his hair or anything, letting his wet bangs fall over his eyes and obstructing his vision for a bit. He puts on some dark hoodie and joggers laying around before taking his bag and getting out of his apartment. He notices the light of the hallway has completely given up.

The walk to school comes with fresh air through his humid hair, but doesn't conflict with the cold temperature of his skin. He hums in, feeling winter settling in.

Jeongguk's alpha has always been quite sensitive to scents. May it be people, werewolves or humans, nature, emotions… Even though he can't really understand their meaning, he can always feel them. He's pretty sure it's a waste that he's the one gifted with these deep instincts when he can't even use it properly. He sucks at understanding both emotions and people.

Also it can be overwhelming sometimes.

Like right now, when he enters the school building and feels assaulted by scents. Usually it's manageable, but he doesn't feel good and his alpha is irritated today so he raises his black mask over his nose before getting in.

Despite that, he can still feel scents getting thicker and sweeter as people notice him though, even when he barely nods to acknowledge their presence some students call for him, sometimes trying to touch him.

"Hi Jeongguk oppa~ "

"You weren't in class yesterday, I can share my notes with you if you want !"

"I can't wait to see him at practice later, he's always so cool !~ "

"You'll come to the christmas party right ? Yuna noona said she'll only come if you come too !"

He doesn't even try to answer because they don't really care about what he'll say anyway.

He barely nods as he makes his way through the hallway, walking a bit aimlessly before remembering he has math this morning.

Despite his level rising in this class, he's really not in the mood for that right now.

First thing he does when he gets to his desk is slumping over it, letting his cheek hit the table and pulling his hood over. He's not planning on sleeping throughout the lesson really, but he's still feeling tired and the lighting in this classroom is way too bright for him right now.
