Backstage
Jesse walks over to Wade who was getting ready. "Jesse, what can I do for you?" Wade asks her while Jesse walks over to him. "I came to wish Unique luck." Jesse said to him with a smile. "Well, Unique has left the building. Try as I might, I can't conjure her." Wade said walking past her. "Wait, this is just stage fright. Think of the last time you performed as Unique. You were smash." Jesse said to him. "That was different. Nobody knew Unique. I didn't have to be anyone other than the one I truly was. Now everyone is coming for me. Jesse, the rest of my team, I can't take the pressure. All I... All I ever wanted to do, was wear a dress and sing. And now I'm a poster to every child that's different. I can't handle it... I just can't handle it." Wade said and he sits down again, Jesse walks up to him. "You may not be able to handle it, but maybe Unique can. You gotta move through that fear and expectation. At least that's what real stars do." Jesse said to him. "Aren't we supposed to be enemies?" Wade asks her. "Yeah, but that's not how we roll in the New Directions. It's not really our style." Jamey said to him with a smile. "Alright, let me get ready." Wade said to them and he turns around and picks up lipstick. "Which lipstick? Ruby red or sugar rose?" Wade asks Jesse. "Suger rose" Jesse said to him and Jese walks over to the door. "Break a heel." Jesse said to him. "I'll tell you what. Unique might need to transfer schools next year." Wade said making Jesse stop and she turns to him again with a smile and she leaves.
In The Auditorium
Jesse sits down next in between Blaine and Jamey. "Why are you eating an apple?" Sebastian asks Puck. "I wanted something to eat." Puck said to him while Sam holds Sebastian's hand. "Please welcome to the stage from Carmel High in Akron, Ohio, Vocal Adrenaline!" The announcer said and Vocal Adrenaline starts with Starships by Nicki Minaj.
