Summary: Sam is in a really dark place. He only has one friend, Rosanna (yes pansino the baker) and he doesn't get much attention at home.

(Sams POV)
"And he's so cute like I didn't see it before but he just-"

All I do is nod my head as my best friend Ro goes on and on about a guy, Matt, that she met at the carnival.

Don't get me wrong I love Ro and I love that she's finding people other than me. But that's also what makes me sad... or anxious I can never really tell what I'm feeling when she talks about other people.

"Sammy are you even listening?" She says, jumping me out of my thoughts.

"Huh? Yeah I am sorry." I say quietly.

"Sammy what's wrong? Is it because I'm talking about Matt? I'm sorry I'll stop." She replies I shake me head.

"Ro you are my best friend. And I'm so excited that you met someone you like. Believe me I am your biggest support system. I'm just tired that's all. But you can keep talking about him cause I love you." I say. She gives me a small smile and hugs me.

"I love you too Sammy. We better get to our classes though. I'll see you next period!" She says and walks away. I sigh and walk to my class.

I sit in my usually spot in the back with all the bad kids. I'm not a bad kid.

I don't skip classes or not do my homework or cuss out the teacher. Hell I've never had a single drug in my life. I was just quiet. I don't like the attention so I chose to sit in the background.

As the teacher walks in, I put my phong in my pocket and grab my journal.

"Ok class today before we get started I wanted to introduce our new student, Cole." He says. I look up to see the most beautiful man I've ever seen in my life. He had bright blue eyes, soft bouncy brown hair with the ends dyed purple, he had a nose ring that was perfectly placed on his nose. Just everything about him was perfect.

"Uhm actually I go by colby." He says quietly. I slightly smile at his soft voice.
Then I catch myself.
No Sam don't start catching feelings cause you know he won't have them back.

I shake my head a little and go back to listening to what the teacher was saying.

"Let's see where we can set you... oh perfect. Sam can you please raise your hand?" I froze. My eyes widened and I slowly raised my hand. Colby looked at me and I gulped. He smiled and walked over next to me, sitting in the seat.

"Hi Sam. Nice to meet you." He whispered. I smiled and nodded.

"Ok let's get into today's lesson." The teacher says before getting started writing on the chalkboard.

I walk out of the school, walking to my car.

Before I can open the door, I hear someone calling my name.

"Sammy!! Wait for me!" I look up to see Ro running towards my car as best as she can in her heels. I chuckle and wait for her to approach.

"Need a ride to your boyfriends house again?" I ask. She shakes her head and I furrow my eyebrows.

"We're staying the night at your house." They say. I nod but suddenly I hear what she said.

"We? As in me and you?" I ask. She giggles.

"Yeah you me and my new friend." I get confused.
