"Daddy!"

Jimin groaned loudly at the pressure on his torso. He opened his eyes and smiled a little.

"Daddy, daddy! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!"

"I'm up, baby girl." Jimin chuckled and sat up, giving a small kiss to Jihyo's forehead. She giggled and slumped down onto his lap. "I want waffles, daddy!" She demanded, already dressed for second grade. "Okay, alright. I'll go make us some breakfast then." Jimin motioned for her to get off of him. Jihyo giggled and flopped down next to her father, allowing him to stand up. "Daddy has a mark on his arm!" Jihyo pointed out, literally pointing out. "I know, baby." Jimin looked at the long scar down his arm. "Here, you can play some games while daddy gets ready to make breakfast, okay?" He unplugged his phone and handed it to his daughter. "Thank you, daddy!" Jihyo laid down on her stomach across Jimin's huge bed, and logged into her My Little Pony game.

Jimin grabbed a clean hoodie and the same jeans he wore yesterday, deodorant and a pair of boxers before heading to the bathroom to change. Nail polish decorated his sink and a half-dressed barbie doll creeped him out from the corner of the bathroom.

"Jihyo~" He called out, and a few seconds later he heard little pitter-patter's coming his way. "Can you please take your Barbie out of daddy's bathroom?" Jimin asked, sighing. "Okay!" Jihyo grabbed Stacy and ran out of the bathroom, careful not to drop the phone in her hand. Jimin closed the door.

He took his pajamas off and changed into new clothes, letting his depressive thoughts run through his head as much as they wanted, because he knew Jihyo had a field trip today so he had to be happy for her. He hid all sharp objects because he knew his daughter was more curious than him. Once he was done changing he opened the door, placing his pajamas beside his bed and going into the small kitchen to somehow make breakfast.

"DADDY!"

Jimin rushed to Jihyo's room when he heard her scream. "Princess what's wrong-" "I-I CAN'T F-F-FIND MY PONY S-SHIRT!" Jihyo sobbed in the middle of her room, throwing Jimin's phone on the floor. Jimin winced for the object and ran over to her.

"Baby, don't worry, okay? Daddy will find your pony shirt, okay?" Jimin made her look at him. "And although you're upset right now, remember that we don't throw things." He told her softly. "I-I w-want my pony shirt!" Jihyo looked around for the white and brown shirt. "Daddy will find it." Jimin kissed her forehead gently. "While daddy looks for it, can you get your backpack ready? Remember you're going to the zoo today!" Jimin tried to make her happy. "I know..." Jihyo sniffled. "You get to see all types of animals," He grabbed a tissue and carefully wiped the snot off of her face. "Like little monkeys, some goats maybe, lions- daddy used to love lions when he was little." He told her, smiling. "Really?" Jihyo smiled, obviously happy now. "Mhm." Jimin nodded.

Jihyo left her room to get her backpack ready, while Jimin searched her room for the pony shirt. He knew it was her favorite outfit: pony shirt and brown jeans with her pink and purple sketchers.

"Aha!" Jimin picked up the shirt when he found it stuffed under her bed. It smelled clean so he stood up to show her he had found it. "Jihyo!" He called out with a smile. He entered the small kitchen.

"Daddy, you found it!" Jihyo screamed happily and ran at him. "I told you daddy would find it." Jimin kissed her small head and handed her the shirt. "Daddy's a superhero!" Jihyo giggled and ran to her room to get changed. Jimin's heart melted.

Then the front door opened.

Jimin went into defense mode because he had no friends or family that would come inside. He ran to the front door, ready to attack.
