Life couldn't be any better. I was married to the only man that I loved and I had my own little family.

I always thought about having a big family but I never expected it to all turn out like this.

In a couple weeks we were planning to move to California once the kids closed school for the summer.

Although my years as a teenager were not easy I still managed to become the person I am today.

Tjay and I been through a lot together, from memories at elementary school and high school. We still got a lot more to go through together.

"I think we need more boxes." I sighed whilst taking more clothes out the closet.

"I got some more yesterday." Tjay helped me get the clothes on the top. "I just needa get them outta the car."

"Oh my god, that day was- it was just so chaotic!" Lani laughed.

"Nah, it was the day when you let Remi give you a tattoo for me." I chuckled.

"Tione how many times I gotta tell you this." She playfully rolled her eyes. "I was so drunk that day I didn't even know what I got myself into."

Flashback

"I-If I go home like this, ima get my ass beat." Kehlani muttered as she stumbled past me.

"Spend the night at my house." I spoke as I passed the blunt around.

"No I can't, I been to your house too many times this week. I don't want your mama to-"

"Lani it's fine, she don't mind you being there." I coughed.

"Kehlani it's clear he just tryna fuck."  Trey shouted.

"Trey, shut the fuck up. Y'all gotta stop making these annoying ass comments." Lani rolled her eyes and threw a pillow at him.

"Anyways..." Remi laughed as she pulled something out from behind her.

"The fuck is that?" I asked.

"A tattoo gun." Remi smirked.

"How the fuck you get a tattoo gun?" Trey stood up and picked it up.

"That don't matter." She smiled. "Now who wants to go first?"

"Nah i'm good." I chuckled. "I just know if I let you give me a tattoo you gone pull some crazy shit."

"Man, Tione you no fun." Remi rolled her eyes.

Lani started humming to herself and swinging her legs against the chair. She was barely holding her head up and her eyes were bleeding red.

"Kehlani!" Remi snapped her fingers in Lani's face.

"Hmm? Remi i'm so drunk right now ion even know whatcu talking about." Lani yawned.

"I said come sit here." She patted the mattress. "I'm gonna give you a tattoo.

"N-No, are you crazy!" Kehlani exclaimed. "Ima get my ass beat if my parents find out I got a tattoo."

"Oh, it's fine. They won't find out." Remi smirked.

Flashback over

"Oh my god!" Lani suddenly grabbed onto my arm. "I can still remember the pain."

"I've never seen you fall asleep so fast." I chuckled. "As soon as you got onto my bed, you fell asleep."

"Really? Ion even remember what happened after we left the place." She yawned.

"A lotta shit happened after we left." I spoke as I played with my hair. "Well more like after you fell asleep."

"Oh yeah... I woke up, and you were gone." Kehlani sighed.

That night was the night I got arrested. Lani ain't even get to see me before I left.

She didn't answer my calls or reply to my letters, but look where we are now - she's my wife.
