As I walk down the path that is cleared I choose to go off the paved path. As I walked father farther and farther, father feeling the leaves crunch beneath me I came across willow trees that almost make a hidden entrance. As I push aside the willow leaves I see a clearing in the distance, as I approach the clearing the animals are running away from me and hiding. As I get to the clearing giant oak trees are providing shade to the ground. In the distance, I can hear water running downstream. As I look closer there is a path made from old wooden planks that look like they might break at any minute. As I walk down the path it brings me right next to the water.
Looking into the water I can see my reflection against the water. I am met by a beautiful sight of the moss green trees behind me with a peak of the weathered brown planks. As I am looking at the reflection out of the corner of my eye I see something shimmer in the water. As I reach my hand into the water I can feel the water and baby tadpoles dancing in between my fingers. I pick the thing up and it is covered with sand and dirt. I wiggle it in the water and as I take it out I see the corner of a picture frame. As I look at the picture I see a smiling family looking at me. As I get up from my knees I reach around and put the picture into my satchel that goes with me everywhere.
As I walk farther down the path I can hear a woodpecker in the distance peaking pecking at the branches. Down the path, I can see twists and turns. It feels as if it is almost like the yellow brick road. As I go farther and farther down the path for what seems like an eternity I come across an old building with what looks like a barn behind it. The old building is a giant cottage that is covered with vines. You can barely see the brick underneath them. In order to get to the front steps, you have to cross the river. In the river, there are stepping stones. Inside the house, there is a big staircase leading to the second floor. Underneath the staircase, there is a giant bookcase that still has some of the books on it. In the living room, there is a fireplace in the middle of the room with couches on either side. On the mantle of the fireplace, there are old pictures of the family.
As I walk around the corner of the house I can see the barn. The barn is surrounded by big oak trees that look like they have been there forever. The barn is made of what looks like logs and appears to be made by the family themselves. As I stand next to the barn entrance I can see cravings carvings there that look like old names. Inside the barn, you can see the old stables of where the horses used to be as well as on the other side where the cows were with their pen. When you go around the corner into the horses part of the barn there is a ladder leading up to what could be the hayloft as well as where the chickens used to be. As I exited the barn I looked into the meadow and saw an amazing pinto horse that had gorgeous chocolate brown spots along the side of it.
The river form from before leads around the barn so I decided to continue down the path. The water shimmering in the and the feeling of the water running through my fingertips feels refreshing. So I sit and enjoy a little time relaxing before the adventure begins again. With my feet in the water, I pull out a sandwich from my satchel. After the sandwich, I put my shoes back on and was am off again on the weathered brown planks. As I go down the path I start to see a wall in the distance that looks so much taller than me. As I get closer and closer to the wall I can see that it looks to appear to be a rock wall. The wall was completely rocks and they were all different sizes and in order to get to the other side, I had to climb to what awaits. Climbing the wall was harder than it appeared but as I slowly got to the top of the wall I couldn't believe what was right in front of me. It was the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen.
On the other side of the wall is a gorgeous waterfall that is leading into the stream that I had followed. I jump down from the top of the wall to the ground and start to walk towards the waterfall almost as if I am in a trance. All over the clearing there are giant willow trees and giant oak trees with what appears to be an old treehouse there. When I got closer to the waterfall I decided to go into the water so I took my shoes off and hopped into the water to enjoy the cool water in the hot weather.
