CHAPTER 6:

(time skip : in the evening)
Tables were set up. Party it was. There were BBQs all over the table. Kimichi and Ramen and cakes and drinks and what not. Namjoon had organized it for something special. No one knew what.

It was emotional and fun at the same time. All of them wrote letters to each other. Things they wanted to express but which they never could. Just everything was normal except 'the letter'. The letter Taehyung wrote to Jimin. It wasn't even a letter. It was just two words. Thank you. That's all. He hadn't just written those two words but a paragraph but he had scribbled the whole thing. Nothing was legible. But nobody gave it much importance because everyone knew that jimin and v were the best soulmate pair that could actually exist.
They sang songs ... danced... it was a day free of all worries...

Now finally it was time for Namjoon. He had arranged 'this' for a special occasion . What was the special occasion?

'Jooni hyung it's your time. You wanted to say something! ' Kook exclaimed.

'Yes. Now that we are exhausted oppa .... we cannot dance anymore... do share your speech and thoughts'

Namjoon got up, took out a big sheet of paper and cleared his throat.

'Hey joon! Don't be official. This is not in UN that you are giving a speech.' Jin said and made himself comfortable in the chair.

'Hehe! Hello guys..I am Kim namjoon. umm you know I am bad at giving speeches. Umm... I couldn't learn it... but this is special.

Lisa, kook, jimin, Tae, Jin, yoongi, hobi. There are the seven bodies where my heart and soul resides. Being with you people makes me happy. But there is one person among you who makes me happier than I have ever been. '

Jin had already turned red. Nose to ear.

'It has been 6 years since we met. Like officially you know.The memory is still fresh in my mind and every time I relive the moment, a small smile starts to lay itself out along my lips. This then leads to more memories, all leading me back to you! So many times we all hear the same advice, "you will know when the person you have in front of you is THE one''.. its funny, before you see and feel it for yourself, it's impossible to imagine how that can even be possible ... but its true, something happens in a flash of a moment, when your mind is unable to take over and your whole body just lets you know that its ok ... this person is finally THE ONE. You know. Like. First it is normal. Then something about that person catches out off guard. And then you fall in love with the smile. The eyes. The cheeks. The voice. And then you fall for that person. I thought this was a myth. Never expected it would be true. Well that's how I feel about you.
I know I should be telling this like from heart without looking at the speech and reading it out but you know it's easier. I can give a fluent speech without getting stuck in between and offending you. I am scared of your scoldings you know. Not that I complain. When you are angry the fury lines in your forehead are so beautiful. You plump lips are to die for. '

Jin was speechless.

'Sorry I that I lost your lip balm before we were coming... I found it though and you have been using it.
A part of me just felt I would rather get it out right, in your eyes, just once, rather than appear a bumbling mess of nerves when all my thoughts were seemingly locked in my heart and mind. I didn't have the courage. So I decided to read it out.....

Sorry kook. Couldn't find a better song. I apologize for copying yours. ' the others did not augh this time. They were staring at namjoon with teary eyes. They were happy. Jin was smiling.

'I know we have gone through a lot . But I want to make this work. For eternity. Don't worry. I am not a vampire and I am not asking you to be one. I will stay with you till death do us apart. I will buy you your favorite lip balm and all the accessories you need to keep your WWH face intact. Will you be mine?' Namjoon folded the paper and tucked it inside his pocket. He reached for his back pocket and pulled something out.

'Finally. Didn't make any mistakes' he walked towards jin and sat on his knees. Making sure that he didn't trip over anything. He pulled out the ring and said looking into jin's eyes.

'Kim Sok-jin. WWH.( namjoon mocked him)Will you marry me?'

Jin couldn't hold back his tears anymore. He was laughing and crying at the same time.

'No.'

'Is that a clue for ''ask me again''?'
Jin nodded his head and face palmed himself.

'KIM SOK-JIN. THE MOST HANDSOME PERSON THAT EXISTS IN THIS WHOLE WORLD. SORRY TAEHYUNG. THE PERSON WHOM I JUST PROPOSED. WILL YOU BE MY HUSBAND?'

'Yes!'

Namjoon put on the ring and they hugged each other.
'Thank you'

'It should be me thanking you. I didn't expect this and... I love you Kim namjoon. I would have been happy to change my last name to yours but we have the same one' jin chuckled in namjoon's arms.
'You know what. I expected 1 more diamond in the ring.' Jin continued and everybody laughed.

Then everybody raised a drink.
There was a 'To jin and jooni.' In unison.

'The wedding is after a week. It's all planned.'

'Mwo? Ikkiboya? You set it even before I said yes?' Jin exclaimed with shock.

'Yea... I would have made you mine no matter what! So duh!' Namjoon was already drunk. With a beer bottle in one hand and caressing jins ring finger with the other . he looked at Jin. And this time he wasn't angry. He was smiling.

'Drunk already... how are you going to spend the rest of your life with me? Low resistance. '

'Can we ?'

'What?'

'Acting as if you don't understand '

Jin laughed and nodded. As a regular romantic couple they left towards their hotel room.
