Since Louis and Niall's flat was a mere five minutes away from the diner, Niall had the brilliant idea that he suggested we go over to his place for drinks and watch movies,"I've even got Romeo and Juliette" he cheekily grinned, holding onto Louis while giving him a sloppy kiss on the cheek. Louis didn't seem to mind and only wiped it away, grimacing and slapping Niall in the head.
I hated it.
So that's why I conducted a brilliant yet simple plan to get to know Louis a bit more: asking him to walk with me to my house so that I could get a couple drinks and films for us and change into clothes better fit for the occasion.
He agreed, and waved a quick goodbye to Liam, Niall and Zayn, "Niall has the keys, he'll show the way. You guys can make yourself at home, get drinks and hopefully Niall will have sobered up enough to speak properly." Louis teased, before giving Niall a hug and waving again.
It was quiet, the sun now setting as we walked.
"So Harold, tell me a bit about yourself." He said, his smile returning.
"Harold? Anyway, i come from Manchester -obviously- and i'm not attending any university or school since i'm a part-time baker and florist for my mum's shop."
"A florist and a baker? So i s'pose you like flowers and baking?"
"No not in the slightest, i just work as a florist and a baker because i despise it," i breezily said, Louis chuckling softly.
"Any hobbies? Apart from staring at my clumsy self in the morning?" He teased,
"I quite like playing the guitar and piano, but i mostly write my own songs. I constantly find mistake in others," Louis frowned and stood still for a moment.
Louis fumbled in his waistcoat pocket before producing a box of cigarettes, and i couldn't help but snort.
"You know smoking is bad for you?" He snorted in return, still fumbling for his lighter.
"Of course i do, they've started to put a warning on every pack i buy."
"Maybe you should listen to them, you wouldn't want your lungs to go black now?"
"Your starting to become more of a nuisance than those damn warnings,"
"My pleasure"
He cupped the lighter in his hand and lit it, i leaned away as if i couldn't bear to be in the presence of smoke.
He rolled his eyes at the gesture, but let the cigarette fall from his lips, towards the ground and he pressed his shoe against it.
"So you play the piano and guitar, what about singing?" A blush crept to my cheeks and i swiftly shook my head.
Naturally, I was lying. Usually i prided myself in the fact that i had a nice-enough voice, but what if Louis asked me to sing for him?
"I don't believe you," He narrowed his eyes.
"I don't care, i won't be singing for you either way." I shot back,
"By the end of the night you will," Louis confirmed, folding his arms across his chest.
"Oh really? You want to bet?" He smiled and nodded, sticking his hand out.
"If you sing even a syllable, you have to take me out for a drink. Did i mention you will be paying?" I scoffed and shook his hand.
"And if i don't sing: which i won't by the way, then you have to teach me how to draw," Louis's eyes slightly widened at this, and i mentally cursed myself.
